Thanksgiving Weekend!

Ron's good family friends have a cabin up North just out of Show Low and close to Taylor which is just where we needed to be for my Grandpa's funeral.

So because Ron had done some work for them they allowed us to stay up at their cabin for the weekend!

We left on Thanksgiving day and since I had two Thanksgiving outfits she got to be all decked for not only our Thanksgivings the day before but also for actually Thanksgivings when we would be traveling up North!

The first day we just drove up there which took a little longer because I had to stop every hour to get up and walk around, another rule of my doctor to let me go up, and we went in my car so I could drive and be able to just stop when I needed to and because I knew where we all needed to go up there for the funeral and my way around Show Low and those other small towns from spending a lot of summers and school breaks up there growing up! When we got to the cabin we just unloaded, sat back, and enjoyed the nice quiet and not busy feeling of being up there! That night Rondalynn fell asleep pretty quickly and looked so peaceful in her crib!

On Friday we enjoyed brunch on the porch is the nice and cool weather!

Rondalynn loved it outside even though her cheeks got a little wind burned.

That night we went into Show Low and did some last minute Black Friday shopping at Wal-Mart of some awesomely priced movies and ate dinner at this awesome Baja Fresh type Mexican place in Show Low!

On Saturday after the funeral we came back to the cabin and took a nice family nap to recharge!

Then that night as we watched movies, drank hot apple cider, and ate snacks as Rondalynn happily played and sang on the floor! Then her and daddy did exercises!

Sunday we got up, packed up, made sure everything was cleaned up and in order, and headed down the mountain for home!

We stopped and Pizza Hut for diner and Rondalynn was a completely call of funny, giggles, and smiles the whole time even though the Cardinals were losing!

Lastly when we got home that night I went to go and unpack our suit case and someone decided it would be so much fun to help!

I tried to get her to put her clothes at least away/in the dirty clothes but instead she laid on them and just laughed and giggled!

It was so nice to just get out of the busy speed of the Valley and relax up North especially because of the reason we were going up there for!

We want to hopefully go back to the cabin next year after the baby is born just to get away and may have to make it a tradition of going up once a year!
