RTK Family and Halloween Photos 2014!

You know when September rolls around it's time for our yearly family and Halloween pictures!!

Here are some of my favorites from the ones that our photographer edited!

Since we knew what the Little Bean was we decided that this would be a great time to take a picture for Rondalynn to announce the big news!

She was so cute! She looked down at the chalk board a couple pictures in after not smiling at all and it looked like she was reading the chalk board and then she looked up and just beamed with smiles for the rest of this pose!

She is excited to be getting a baby brother!

Of course our family photo isn't complete without Socrates in it!

I love this picture!

She really loves her daddy!

And I'm pretty sure he is beyond in love with her!

Squeaky with family feet and little brother's shoes!

I love this squishy face!

She was so happy sitting in that chair!

Since we were taking our Halloween pictures as well we brought Rondalynn's Halloween costume!

A cupcake!

Between her having to wear her topping hat and the bugs that were horrible where we were taking pictures she was not happy with the being a cupcake!

This year's Truex family costume is the Star Fleet crew of the USS TNT-20122902!

And lastly a cute little picture of the Little Bean's accessories!

Of course he had to have a hat like Daddy's!

Besides for the horrible bugs we had a great and fast photo shoot!

And once again I'm in love with all of our photos!

Helping With Halloween Decor!

Earlier this month my mom was watching Rondalynn while I was at an appointment and she decided to go out and hang her Halloween decor outside.

Of course you can't hang your Halloween decor without someone in charge to give direction!

Rondalynn was the Halloween decor foreman and made sure everything was up and looked right!

Just a 10% Chance of Rain!

In September we got the mother load of all rain storms!

In one day we got more rain then we had gotten in the past three years all together!

That morning Rondalynn and I were on our way to an appointment and while at a stop light I snapped these photos with my phone!

The water was up and over the sidewalk and was washing up on the landscaping on the street corner making it look like a beach with waves rolling in!

Within seconds of me taking this picture this construction sign fell over and literally started floating away!

It was a crazy rainstorm but a much needed one for our dry desert!

Alexzander 6th Birthday Party!

I'm still playing some catch up with my posts so forgive me!

In August my nephew Alexzander turned 6 and had his birthday party at Amazing Jake's!

We got there shortly after they opened so we could beat some of the crowds and let Rondalynn ride some of the kiddie rides, eat, and play some games before the huge Saturday crowds came.

First we Rondalynn and I rode the tea cups!

I'm not a big fan of these because they make me sick which I knew could be worse since I was just barely out of my first trimester at this point.

But we just sat in the cup and it did a rotation and a half that it's suppose to do while the ride is going at a super slow pace so we were both fine!

Daddy was our camera man while we were on the rides!

After the tea cups Rondalynn was starting to get hungry and since it was still mid morning we hadn't really eaten either so we figured this would be the best time to do that!

Squeaky was still in the early stages of finger foods but she still enjoyed the yummy things mommy got for her from the buffet!

After our snack we decided to do the train!

I wanted to sit in the engine because it was open and easier to get into but for some reason they didn't let us so we had to ride in the car which is not easy to get into and through it's little door when you are in a skirt and holding and wiggling seven month old!

But we made it in and for the most part she loved it!

Towards the end of the ride she was tired of being in the dark car where she couldn't see much but was all smiles again when we got out!

Next we did the last "kiddie" ride she could do which is the merry-go-round!

Out of all the rides she disliked this one!

But it was very jerky so I don't blame her!

After our ride was over the party was starting so we went to find the party and have lunch!

Gotta love this picture of Echo!

Hahaha!

Rondalynn enjoyed a second lunch and kept stealing the cucumbers off of Grandma Echo's plate after she ate all of hers! She loves those cucumbers!

Alex and Kalia being silly!

After all those cucumbers a girl needs some milk and............

A nap!

She slept right through the rest of lunch and presents!

Alex's Mario Kart cake!

And of course then it was time for everyone's favorite part of the party when they are little! Gifts!

I love how excited his guests and sister were with every gift he opened!

Lastly are picture of Rondalynn after she woke up and when she got her goody bag!

Which contained these awesome sunglasses that she modeled so well!

It was a fun party and we all had a blast!

I'm sure next year when Rondalynn is older and her brother is here it will be even more fun!
