Sick!

A little update for you all on what I have been doing the past week and half!

Yes my blogging friends I have been beyond sick with pneumonia in both lungs and RSV and I have blood work out to make sure I have nothing else. So once I get better I will update you all with my birthday and other events that have happen in the past week and half but for now I'm just trying to get better so don't worry and I will be back in my blogging form soon!

Sad news

I woke up this morning to sad news.

Captain Phil Harris of the Cornelia Marie featured on one of my favorite shows, Deadliest Catch passed away last night

I know I have some Deadliest Catch fans who read my blog so that is why I share this. I pray that his family, friends, and those that worked with him will have peace and be comforted during this time. Now Deadliest Catch won't be the same with out him.

Last week was Memphis, one of our little daycare girls birthday! Her mom brought over princess cupcakes and favors and so we had a princess party!

Raven the birthday dog!!

Today is Raven's 4th birthday! So of course I had to do a Raven post!

I got this cute little pink tutu at work and when I saw Raven when I got home I had to put it on her! She gave me this look of death at first!

Then she went and asked dad for help!


But as soon as she realized we all thought she was the cutest thing she got all excited and was proud of her new outfit!

Raven is the best dog ever and I also have to say that she is the cutest one too!

Captain Phil Harris

As you all should know I'm addicted to one thing!

The show Deadliest Catch! I have all the season on DVD and on my ipod. And I try not to work on Tuesdays when the new seasons are on so I can watch them. I know I'm border line needing to be committed!

But I just found out that my favorite captain who is also on my favorite boat had a stroke!

Captain Phil Harris suffered a stroke while off loading his boat in St. Paul Alaska on January 30th. He had to be medivac to a hospital in Anchorage Alaska and had emergency surgery on January 31st. Right now he is in a coma but surrounded by his sons, other family, and friends.


I know you all may think that this is a stupid post but I don't care what you think and I'm asking that you keep him in his prayers that he will recover. And that no matter what happens he and his family will be at peace.

Karli's exciting news!!

On Saturday Karli went and tried out for the 2010 Regional Orchestra with her handy dandy bass! When Karli came home that day she was in good spirits but told us that she totally bombed it and she would be surprised if she even got a spot on the orchestra.
Later that night she got this e-mail that was sent to all the Red Mountain High School and Shepherd Junior High students that tried out!

Karli got the e-mail and was completely floored by what it said! Not only did she get a spot but she got the number one chair in the bass section! For those of you that don't know what that means, it means that she got was the best at tryouts and got "first place" if you will and will be the lead in that section! For a sophomore this is a huge honor and Karli ran around the house telling and calling anyone and everyone she could think of to let them know! I'm so proud of her and can't wait to see them perform! Also I want to give a shout out to Ashley Hemauer (A.K.A. Cute Little Ashley) Karli's friend from elementary school who got third chair in Viola!
