Cake!

I got asked by Ron's sister to make a cake for her son's 3rd birthday which I was honored and excited about! He wanted a Phineas and Ferb cake and we found this really cool picture of one with a roller coaster carved into the sides.

So here you go folks!!!

I think I did a fairly good job!

It was a marble cake with cream cheese whipped frosting. And in the middle it had homemade vanilla chocolate chip butter cream! All the designs I hand piped on! It took me longer then I want to say to do and it's by no means perfect but I think it turned out great!

Who looks much, much better then this picture but he hates his pictures being taken and I respect that but I'm sure eventually I will get at least one picture of us together! And can I add an already stated comment about how gorgeous his smile and eyes are!! Hehehehe!! Sorry I'm getting off track!

The Little Black Sambo Book! I shopped on eBay for this thing for over a year before the eBay Gods blessed me with a winning bid!! This one is mine and it's a 1908 edition!

Since we are on the topics of books this one had to be on the list! This is my all time favorite book growing up and still is high on the list today! Yes I know I can read it cover to cover in a hour but there is just something magically and awesome about it every time I read it!

Gila Valley Temple!

About a week or so ago Brittany, Davide, and I went to the Gila Valley Temple!

It was so awesome and even more beautiful inside then I remember when we did the walk through. And now I have been to all three dedicated Temples in Arizona! I'm hoping soon to get to go to one or two in Utah!

Balloon flower

A couple Saturdays ago Ron and I went out to dinner at Texas Roadhouse with his grandparents and some cousins. While we were there a balloon guy came to the table and Ron insisted he make me something!

This cute blue hand flower! I'm just grateful it wasn't a big balloon hat! I will admit that I was embarrassed at first but I also thought it completely sweet of him! I am one lucky girl!!

The kids had a lot of fun looking at all the stuff and following the animal tracks around. And actually for someone who had never been there before it was a pretty cool place!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2

On July 15th it was the end of an era. The end of the Harry Potter movies with the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 and of course you know I was there for it!

I went as Bellatrix Lestrange and of course that meant that I needed a dark mark tattoo! I did this one all by myself by the power of Google, tracing, Sharpie, and some dark eye make up! I think it turned out fabulous and I was the only one at the theater we went to that had one, because yes I am that awesome!

Ducky was the lucky and willing victim to spend all that time in line with me! Over ten hours if you were wondering!

Where our line was there were these benches but after sitting on them for an hour they made our backs hurt so much! So instead we got our chairs out and used the bench as a foot rest! Don't you love my socks! I couldn't wear my boots forever!


Proof I didn't starve Konner and got him dinner!

Afterward we went to our favorite after movie hot spot...... IHOP!

A nap!!

It was a great day and a great movie that everyone should go and see at least once! But it did make me a little sad that it's all over!

New hair!

I was getting tired of my hair color so I decided to throw caution to the wind and go with the color I have been debating about for a while!

Dark brown, almost black, with auburn undertones!!

It was a bit darker then I thought it would be but I completely love it! These pictures aren't that good but you can at least see how dark it is!
