This year instead of going out for a fun night of spooks and ghouls we are leaving this afternoon to head up to Utah to go to the Manti and Salt Lake Temples and then heading to California to go to Disneyland!

Eight Months!

It's the 29th of the month again and this marks our eight months of being married!

So here is what is going on in the life of Mr. and Mrs. Truex!

* I started school on the 22nd and I'm enjoying every bit of it!

* The company Ron works for is growing bigger and he is now manager over four employees and is an amazing manager!

* I got my first ever black eye with a very funny story!

* We sent out our first annual Halloween cards to our family and close friends! We decided to do Halloween cards instead of Christmas cards each year since it's our favorite holiday! So be on the look out for your card if you haven't already got them!

* I got runner up nationally in the field of Pediatrics which I totally didn't expect and I'm beyond honored about!

* Ron and I (mostly me) are still enjoying doing a lot of fun ceramics for ourselves and as gifts!

* And lastly we are enjoying our favorite month and getting ready to go to Utah and Disneyland for vacation at the end of the month!

Ron came home one day in early October with something very awesome!

The "Big Unit" Randy Johnson Diamondbacks Bobblehead!

His boss had him and some other ones that he was getting rid of and Ron got first pick! Since my husband is awesome he picked this one right away!

Now the "Big Unit" sits happily on our TV!

RTK Family and Halloween Pictures 2012!

When Ron and I got engaged I told him that I wanted to try my hardest to get family pictures every year in October which Ron agreed with. So when we found Susie to take our engagement and wedding photos we knew that we had found our hopefully lifetime amazing photographer!

So at the end of September we go with Susie, went just outside of Payson, and took the first annual Truex family and Halloween photos! Some of the pictures below Ron edited with some fun and cool effects!

Of course we had to have some with our baby Socrates!

365 Days Ago!

385 days ago today I was given......................

this box and in that box was...............

this beautiful almost two karat black diamond engagement ring!

Also with this box came the best question I have ever been asked!

It's crazy to think that a year ago Ron and I first got engaged! In some ways it feels like yesterday and in others it feels like years ago but I wouldn't trade any of that time for anything!

New Adventure!

Since I have a special post tomorrow I decided to do this important post a day early!

Starting tomorrow I will once again be an almost full time student!

I will be starting the nine month pharmacy tech program at Brookline College in Tempe and then after that jumping right into the bachelor forensic program that they offer as well!

Pharmacy was something that interested me before I got my CNA and the plan was to work for a year or two as a CNA, save money, then go to school. But my hips changed the game plan on me and my experience as a CNA for almost nine years opened my eyes to a lot that other medical fields and departments have to offer. So with this knowledge, my want to still do something in the pharmacy field, and knowing my hips won't handle the strain of years and years of 12 to 16 hour hard shifts on my feet I did a lot of research and praying and come to this and I have never felt better about a school and degree choice! I'm so excited about all of this and all the future has in store with it!

MeKell's Baby Shower!

About a month ago I was able to attend MeKell's baby shower for her little man that's coming in a couple of weeks!

Her friend that put it on did the theme of a little man shower and it was so cute with little mustaches and cute "little man" stuff everywhere! Most of the pictures I got was of her opening gifts but I still had to share!

Since it was a "little man" shower Hunter (MeKell and Deke's oldest for those who don't know) was able to come as well and you could tell that not only was he excited to be there but thrilled to be getting a baby brother!

Yes this is an ASU outfit! Considering that Ron will be going to ASU in the fall and I will be going there in a couple of years I know our kids will be rocking outfits like this!
