Great Pumpkin 2014!

This is the first year that we started our tradition of the Great Pumpkin!

The Great Pumpkin comes on Halloween night and puts healthy snacks, fruits, a new toothbrush, and some small little toy or stickers and puts them inside your carved pumpkin for you to find the next morning!

I only know of maybe two other families that do this tradition but when I heard of it I knew I had to do it too!

Since November 1st is also the Day of Dead and Tia Karli brought Rondalynn home this super cute outfit from her studying in Mexico I knew she needed to wear it on this day!

I also took eyeliner and drew the traditional markings of Day of the Dead on Rondalynn!

The pictures are blurry because she was moving but I think I did a very good job trying to basically face paint her face as she is trying to move everywhere!

Once Rondalynn was dressed and painted we went outside to see if the Great Pumpkin had come and what he had left Squeaky!

At first she wasn't sure about being on the wagon with the pumpkins and us asking her to stick her hand insider her pumpkin to get a surprise!

But she warmed up to the idea and started pulling everything in her pumpkin out!

Showing off what she found!

She was so excited that their was Cheerios in this bag!

And her favorite little toy she got was this rubber spider that doubled for her as a teething toy!

Making one final check to make sure she got everything out!

Here is everything the Great Pumpkin left her! Healthy snacks, a banana, Halloween doll, bat hat, bubbles, toy spider, witch ring, stickers, baby rubber ducks, grow me big body parts, and a light up necklace! She had just gotten a new tooth brush so the Great Pumpkin will start leaving a new tooth brush or tooth brush head every time next year!

It was so much fun seeing her get excited about things in her pumpkin and I know next year will be even funnier with her brother there too!
