Harry Potter!

On the 19th the beginning of the end started!

For Harry Potter that is!

And of course I HAD to go to the midnight showing and have good seats! So I packed my stuff and headed to Harkins at 8am to be the second person in line!

But since I was by myself for most of the day I didn't take pictures of my camp but when the second half comes out in July I will be taking a lot more pictures since I won't be there all by myself all day!

The only way to do midnight movies! With duck slippers! I was in normal clothes most of the day and evening but then changed when the movie got closer!

Konner and I full of "teenage angst"

After the movie we were hungry well at least two of us were, so where did we go.....

IHOP!! My fabulous hot chocolate!

My candid camera moment of Emma, Morgan, and Karli!

And a goofy one of Konner!

The movie was beyond awesome! I highly, highly recommend that everyone goes and sees it at least once!!

State Fair 2010!

On November 6th Konner and I had some free tickets so we went to the...............

Arizona State Fair! I haven't been since I was 15 so that means Konner hasn't been since he was like a year!

When we first walked in there was this awesome robot dinosaur thing! Again excuse some of my bad pictures! I really need a new camera!

This is an example of my bad picture! Konner and the dinosaur

Me and the dinosaur!

Of course we went on some rides like this very lame haunted house but it did have these cool dragons in front!

But our favorite ride was the Crazy Coaster! It was awesome!

We also went and saw the animals! Like this chicken! When I saw this all I could think of was "There's a monster on the roof. Can I have a glass of water?" Hehehe!

But the main thing that I like at the fair is the FOOD!!

First off drinks! Konner got a blue raspberry Icee!

And I got a completely fabulous pineapple float!

Next was dinner! Corn dogs!

Fair fried food is the best!

Lastly was dessert of shaved ice

And off course cotton candy!

The weather was a bit too warm still but we still had fun! And I hope we get to go next year and I'm able to get more pictures!

Halloween 2010!

Finally the Halloween post 26 days later!!

Konner being a gangsta!

And me as a Sorceress!

I really liked my hood!

And since Halloween was on a Sunday my dad didn't let Konner go trick or treating so he passed out candy and helped his self to some as well!

Pumpkin carving 2010!

Almost a month later I am getting my Halloween posts!

First off is pumpkin carving!

This was my pumpkin before I started! I think it's so cute!

Konner starting on his pumpkin! Is it bad that I let my 11 year old brother use such a big knife? At least I was right there to help him right?

That's right fool! I will cut you! Hehehehe!

Ewwww pumpkin guts!

Honestly cleaning out the pumpkin is one of my favorite parts!

Konner carving his pumpkin!

And me carving my pumpkin!

Konner decided that he wanted three different faces on his pumpkin so here is the first one that I'm sure is just a smile.

Face number two!

And face number three! Notice how Konner has a different face himself in each picture!

My pumpkin! It's a spider in it's web and yes I did cheat and use an outline!

My mom, who forbid me to take pictures of her in the process, even made this completely adorable pumpkin!

All three pumpkins hanging out waiting for it to get dark.

One of the sides of Konner's pumpkin all lit up!

My mom's pumpkin all lit up!

My pumpkin all lit up!

And lastly all three of our pumpkins all lit up!

Hatch Family Halloween Party

Again this year since we were going to have Shanna and her girls in town around Halloween we decided to throw a Halloween family party at our house!

This year we asked that each family bring a different soup! My mom made tomato basil, I made clam chowder, Shanna made cheesy potato, Lori made potato and ham, Lou made split pea, MeKell made hamburger soup, and Claudia made butternut squash! I had to try at least a few bites of each and all of them were so good!

After dinner we got pictures of those of us that came dressed up!

Josh and Claudia were awesome as rednecks! Claudia had a towel stuffed into her shirt, Josh had an empty beer can he carried around and trashy tattoos, and of course Claudia's fake black eye completed the outfit!

The Burch family came with a Harry Potter theme! Complete with two totally cute owls!

Us crazy Larsons were a witch, a gangsta, a girl in pajamas (I was in my costume earlier but got tired of it and decided to change), and Shaggy from Scooby-Doo!

Shanna and Eden were the evil witch and Snow White. Luckily this Snow White was a lot smarter and didn't take the apple!

Aunt Lori was a hippie and Uncle Sid who for some reason wasn't in the picture was the devil and again miss Emma was an owl!

After pictures we started the games! Along with soup each family had to bring a game or activity for us to do! First the Hostetter's brought songs for us to go Halloween caroling! For some reason I didn't take my camera but all of us went over to our neighbors, the Miner's, and sang them some songs. It was really fun and even funnier to watch! When we got back to planned our game which was musical chairs!

Now as much as I love my family I have to say that we are very competitive so because of this I decided that if I was to participate it could result in a need for a new hip, so I was the camera women instead, which was a lot safer!

And David agreed with this! Hehehe!

These next set of pictures are of our musical chair game!

Once musical chairs was over and Hunter was named champion we moved on to the Burch's game of pass the pumpkin!

Most of the pictures taken while this game was played, words can not explain, mostly because we were all laughing way too much!

After the pumpkin was passed and my line won (yeah we rock socks!) we played Josh and Claudia's game of minute to win it!

Claudia had set up two different "minute to win it" games we could play. First was cereal box puzzles. Here you have a minute to put the puzzle made out of a cereal box together.

The second game she had was a board with sewing needles stuck in and you had to one minute to thread all the needles.

The last game we played was the mummy wrapping game! This game was also a hoot to watch!

But by far the best part of the game was when we had a couple mummy showdown with MeKell and Deke and Claudia and Josh!

The finished mummies!

And one with their husbands!

It was a fun night and by the end we all felt just like this!
