Cow Appreciation Day 2010

Another adventure while our parents were gone was the yearly cow appreciation day!! So we got all cowed up to go and get FREE Chick-Fil-A not once but twice!

Konner as a cow.

Me as a cow.

We even had tales! Here is Konner's tale.

And my tale.

We went to breakfast first at a Chick-Fil-A by the movies.

We went to the one by the movies so we could go in all of our cow glory to see Toy Story 3! Here we are waiting for the movie to start. It was really funny because I got up to answer a phone call from Llama 20ish minutes into the movie and a little girl in the back yelled "Mommy she has a tale too!!

After the movie we were to the mall for a Chick-Fil-A lunch and got these most sexy hats! Konner in his.

And me in mine.

Our lunch picture.

And lastly us with the cow! We had a very fun filled day and got a lot of compliments on our outfits! And Konner can't wait for next year!

Triple dog dare!

A weekend or so ago my parents and Karli went out of town for youth conference, meaning that I got to entertain the Ducky! One night when they were gone we decided to go get one of those big half baked cookie Al-la-mode.

While waiting for our most fabulous cookie to get to the table Konner took his lemon out of his water and of course I had to make the dare!! I triple dog dared him to not only eat his lemon but to do it when some salt added!

Being the boy to never back down to a dare, let alone a triple dog dare he took the challenge!

And his face was priceless!

But in the end he got to have this!

And I think we both more then enjoyed it!

Fourth of July 2010

To celebrate the 4th of July this year my parents, Konner, and I went to down town Mesa on the 3rd for the freedom celebration.

They had a lot of cool things there one of them being this helicopter.

In front of the helicopter were all these "acceroiess" that we could put on. Here is Konner and I getting ready.

And here we are all ready!

We also saw this tank.

In the National Guard area they had this military Hummer that the kids could get in and check out! Here is Konner driving and dad checking it out.

Konner sitting in the lookout thingy. Don't you like my new name for this spot since I don't know the real name!

Peek-A-Boo!

My dad checking out one of the cars in the car display.

They also had a monster truck there and in case you forgot how short I was here is a picture. I could stand completely under it!

The Celebration was really fun even though it was rather hot! And the fireworks were awesome!

The next night for the actually 4th of July we stayed home and played my mom's most favorite game Yahtzee! Here is my score card. It says Kassi the mistress of awesome!

Mom and Konner.

Konner and dad.

Dad and Llama.

We played three games and I actually won one of them, but over all the Yahtzee Goddess won! I have to say that this was one of the funniest 4th of July weekends I have had in a long time!

Movies and the mall!

Another field trip with the kids!

At the end of June I took these lovely ladies and Konner and Josh to the dollar theater.

We saw How to Train Your Dragon. Which is a very cute and good movie!

And afterwards the kids wanted to go and look at the water fountain and play on the "stage"

Eclipse!!

On June 29th the day I have been waiting for since last November came!!!

Eclipse baby!!! Well actually the Twilight Trilogy. My friend RaeAnn and I have been waiting for what felt like forever for this to come out! He is the sign for our line!

And here we are! We got there at 7am and were the 6th or 7th people in line.

And it was a beautiful day! Hot but beautiful!

Here is our outside campsite which we turned around to keep the sun out of our eyes. And we were outside until 10am with nothing to do so we got bored and took some pictures!

RaeAnn's cute feet.

My cute feet!

RaeAnn and me as we waited outside.

We even got so bored outside that we resorted to "tattooing" ourselves!

Finally at 10am they let us in to wait in the lobby, so here we are in the lobby line!

Once we were settled in line I made a quick run to Wal-Mart to get the Eclipse movie companion!! I have the ones for the other two movies so I figured why not have them all! RaeAnn quickly found a sexy Edward picture!

And I found a most fabulous Jasper picture!!

In line I passed the time with crocheting! And talking to the fellow Twilight fans around us!

At 3:30pm they let us in to find our seats. I must say getting there early completely paid off because we got some most excellent seats!

Here we are at about 6:30 waiting for Twilight to start!

We were ready! RaeAnn had her Edward cup filled with her ice cold drink!

And I had my yummy dill pickle which lasted me through all three movies!

After Twilight we had twenty minutes to waste until New Moon started. So of course another picture was in order!

Finally after New Moon was over, which for some reason felt like the longest movie in creation, we had a whole forty minutes until Eclipse! I felt like a kid waiting to get up on Christmas morning! And as you can see we were starting to get a bit slap happy!

Just a reminder that RaeAnn was there for her Edward eye candy!

And I was there for my Jasper eye candy which Eclipse delivered wonderfully!

RaeAnn and I after Eclipse! Once our amazing movie was over we needed some real food!

We went to IHOP where RaeAnn got a very well organized breakfast!

And I finally got my chocolate chip waffle with strawberries that I had been craving for over a week!

The movie was amazing, so much so that I have seen it four times! I recommend that you all go and see it because it follows the book so well and is the best of the three movies!!
