Ducky Taking On the Flag Football

This year for the first time the Mesa Public Schools district decided to split up the grade levels like most other districts in the state and country.

Starting this year grades K - 6th attend elementary school, 7th & 8th attending junior high, and 9th -12th attend high school.

Because of this the junior highs who would have Varsity Teams and sports don't and instead save that for high school only. But just because of this doesn't mean the 7th & 8th graders can't participate in sports for their schools but it doesn't mean it's all the sports or main stream sports that most high schools have.

Because football is a big high school sport no matter what part you take in it the junior highs decided to continue this sport but only as flag football and the Ducky is part of the team!!

The game started about five minutes early so we were late and sadly Konner twisted his ankle in one of the three plays we missed and the coach didn't want it to get worse so he couldn't play the next week (since the season is only five or six games!) so I didn't get to see him in action!

But you know me and that didn't even come close to stopping me from taking some pictures to share of the Ducky and to make it easier to spot him, he is the number 18!

I do really like this picture of him!

Lastly because I love to take pictures and Ducky is a good sport and use to it and picture of us two together!!

His team has been doing great this year so be ready to see other games and more pictures!

Don't do it!

I'm sure we all remember when we were little and were told over and over that we won't allowed to do or have something because we weren't old enough.

Those words spoke more times since the earliest days we could remember from any and all adults that we knew were words that we more than quickly grew to hate!

Then finally, after what felt like nine or ten sets of eternities, we finally made it! We became adults!

And like most things we realized then that all those people telling us were weren't old enough or that we don't need to try to grow up to fast were right!

Don't get me wrong, being grown up has a ton of awesome plus sizes but then you get those days....... you know which ones I'm talking about! The stay in the bed, under the covers, not caring and just rollthe dice that everyone and thing makes it to the end of the day! And yes you do get out of bed and do your everyday adult things but you questions your state of mind for most of it!

So this random, funny post for you to enjoy today is made just for those day!!

Crazy Phone!

Every so often when I'm bored I like to go through the photos in my phone and I found, no joke, this almost six year picture taken one night in 2008 in the ER!

This is a NG tube that goes into your nose and down to your stomach!

Satan's patent on this torture device is still pending on this by there way! Just in case you were wondering!

They placed this evil thing when I was bleeding into my tummy after my appendix was taken out.

Trust me you never want on! NEVER!!

Anywho back to the real post! I found the fact that my phone found this random on my SD card almost six years later and had to post it for the funny aspect!

Angry Birds

Konner and I came across this at Wal-Mart one day!

Cousin Craft Day January 2013!

After our cousin craft day in September last day we decided that we were going to try and do it four times or so a year so closer to the end of January we all met up at Claudia's house one day for a fun Valentine craft day!

I would love to tell you that I took a ton of pictures of us doing our crafting but that would be a huge lie! I did get about a million pictures of the cuteness of Hudson and Zeke for you to enjoy though! Hehehe!

Zeke had just woke up here but it didn't take him long at all for him to warm up to us all being there!

And he loves Hudson!

Not only did he now have cousin Kassi's keys but also her slippers!

I didn't completely fail at craft pictures and did get these four!

I'm sure you don't blame me though, babies are super cute!

We did two crafts but this one was the only one I finished there and I completely love it! In fact it may be a up around the year decor idea!

But as soon as I get walk away from the sewing machine, come back from my second cousin's wedding in Texas in the start of March, finish a ceramic project, and get done with the other super cute craft I'll post that as well!

I'm so glad we started getting together like this and I can't wait for our next super fun day together!
