2014 Truex Family Halloween Cards!

Here is this year's Truex Family Halloween card!

This is the front!

This is the top of the inside!

The top part of this is the bottom of the inside and the bottom part is the back of the card.

For some reason it didn't wanted me to have it as two separate pictures!

And because of that here is what the inside of our card said since it's so tiny and you can't read it in this picture!

The Notorious Truex Gang has been busy this year trying to allude authorities by taking on their second personalities
as Star Trek Trekkies! We uncovered their operations and got these pictures of them in their Star Trek disguises as
well as this letter in their alter ego form to fellow fugitives!

Dear Fellow Star Fleet Members,

This has been a exciting year for the USS TNT-20120229 and it's crew! Here are the adventures the crew members have been on!

Captain Ron Truex has been busy taking command of his crew and performing his captain duties. He enjoys working at
NewTek web hosting division of the ship as a web developer. In his off time he enjoys down time playing in the Holodeck with the PS4 technology and spending time with the other crew members.

First Commander Kassi Truex is fully enjoying her duties teaching and entertaining the other crew members. She is
planning on returning to fleet academy to continue her education and Star Fleet rank in the field of Forensic Medicine.
When she is not on the ship's bridge she can be found baking up delights, updating the ship's blogs, and painting ceramics.

Lieutenant Rondalynn Truex is busy learning and expanding her views since becoming the new Star Fleet member in January. She has recently mastered the art of crawling, waving, and saying Dada and is now working on fully clapping, standing, and walking. On duty or not she is always making the other crew members and guest aboard the ship smile and laugh while keeping them on their toes. She is also very excited to welcome the newest Star Fleet member next year.

Ensign "Little Bean" Truex is business growing, learning, and getting big. HE is scheduled to be graduating from the Star Fleet academy and joining our crew in February 2015! We are all very excited to add him as our newest crew member.

Love,
The Truex Family!
Ron, Kassi, Rondalynn, and The Little Bean!

This is the newest and latest communication that we have intercepted from the Notorious Truex or TNT gang. We
hope to have more information soon regarding the gang and their activities in the near future and will bring those
updates to you.

We hope you all enjoyed this year's card as much as we loved putting it together for all of you!

Making Mommy Feel Better!

This picture is another old one since I'm catching up but after being in the hospital all day with a scare regarding Little Bean this beam of sunshine came to see me and everything was better!

I didn't even know this picture was being taken but her smile and me loving on her was the best medicine, as well as knowing that everything was going to be okay with Little Bean!

No matter what she makes everything and everyday better just by being here!

I love my Squeaky!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Today is Thanksgiving!

This year Ron, Rondalynn, Echo, and I had our Thanksgiving yesterday which I will be posting about later of course.

We did it the day before because Echo is heading out today to go to Texas for her niece's wedding tomorrow and Ron, Rondalynn, and I are heading out today to go up North for my Grandpa Hatch's Funeral on Saturday.

Normally I joke about stuffing our faces, napping, watching football, napping some more, eating some more, and enjoying time with your family but this year I want to post something different.

This year we may not be spending the Thanksgiving holiday doing something that you want to do and saying goodbye to a love one during the holidays is never easy but honestly it seemed like the most perfect time for this to all happen.

My Grandfather's death is of course sad and this weekend will no doubt be hard, especially when you add pregnancy hormones on top of it!

But at the same time it's a time to reflect not only his glorious life but the lives he started and everything the Lord has blessed us with!

So this Thanksgiving while we mourn and enjoy all the things that come with Thanksgiving as well I will be extra thankful for all the blessings I've been given in my life!

So to end this post I want to list 30 of those blessings I'm thankful for and I've set this goal for myself to think of these 30 things daily plus anything else that comes to my mind every day for the next year and more because I know just by doing that it will enrich my life even more than it already is!

And of course these are in no real order!

1. My amazing husband Ron!

2. Our beautiful daughter, Rondalynn!

3. Our precious and active Mister Little Bean who we can't wait to meet in February!

4. My wonderful parents and mother in law!

5. My awesome siblings and sister in law!

6. My fun nieces and nephews!

7. My fuzzy loves! My fur baby Socrates and fur sister Raven!

8. My loving grandparents and grandparent in laws!

9. All of my huge and crazy extended family!

10. All of my wonderful and caring friends!

11. Modern technology that allows me to keep in contact with all those fun, beautiful, amazing, and wonderful people listed above!

12. Wonderful modern medical technology that has been a huge blessing this pregnancy and recently made sure that Little Bean stayed cooking until his February debut date!

13. My beautiful home and having a place to live!

14. This wonderful and free land we live in and that I can raise my children in!

15. Arizona! Have you seen the weather in other parts of the country! My hips protest just watching the news! I'm so glad that I live in Arizona!

16. Naps! Even though Rondalynn doesn't think she needs to take one or a long one most of the time I'm still thankful for the little ones she does!

17. The movie the Corpse Bride! Rondalynn LOVES this movie! I don't put it on for her all the time but it has helped this mommy get a happy baby and some things done when teething blues hit!

18. Photos!

19. My blogs and the great journal it's allowed me to do!

20. Frozen Hot Chocolate! A go to this pregnancy for the sweet tooth and sad days!

21. My religion!

22. The wonderful people of my ward and all the help they have given us and blessing they have been!

23. Temples and the fact that we have five in Arizona and so many so close to be able to go to so often!

24. Date nights even if it's just to run through a drive thru real fast to come home and eat it's still a nice little date!

25. Ad matching! Yes I know it's crazy but I've become a master at this, I love it, and it's saved us so much!

26. Root beer! Since I won't drink my beloved Coca-Cola while pregnant this has stepped in to help when I need that extra sugar when out and about!

27. Missionaries! Especially my two cousins out in the mission field right now!

28. Hot showers!

29. Sports! I may be the only sports nut in my household until my children are older and I've taught them the way of the sports fan, but I still love them!

30. Chocolate!

This is only 30 things but I know I have so many more things to be thankful for!

So once again Happy Thanksgiving from the Truex Family to yours!

We hope you have a fun, safe, beautiful, and food coma inducing Thanksgiving!

I'm hoping after today to start catching up on my blog post since we are getting into the busiest time of the year with lots of blog posts to come! But I wanted to let the post for my grandfather be on here until today without any other posts in his honor.

Grandpa Hatch

This morning another cowboy rode off into the sunset and Heaven gained another amazing man!

My Grandfather, Kenneth Bly Hatch, passed away peacefully in hospice care here in Mesa, Arizona after a courageous, hard, and valiant four year battle with cancer and heart disease.

When he was diagnosed in the early summer of 2011 the doctors told him that he would be lucky to have 18 more months. But in true form he laughed it off and set out to prove them wrong, which he did and we cherished every extra second we got with him!

In those extra seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, and years we got with him he was able to see one granddaughter come home off her mission, a grandson leave and come home from his mission, two more granddaughters leave on missions, three granddaughters get married (myself included), welcome six new great grandbabies (Rondalynn included), and in those finally months help us celebrate and get ready for Little Bean's arrival next February! He also got to travel to other states and continue to trap and do those things that he loved to do everyday!

His life was full, no doubt about it! He was married to my grandmother and his sweetheart for 56 years, had five wonderful kids, was blessed with 21 unbelievable grandchildren, and was again blessed with 11 and 1 on the way amazing great grandchildren!

I thank the Lord so much that for almost 30 years I was honored and proud to call this man my grandfather! Whenever I thought of a cowboy he was what came to my mind. He taught us the importance of hard work and dedication, loved the land, nation, his faith, his family, and Father in Heaven, loved to laugh and play jokes, would be one of the first people to nap up the baby when he came into a room, and was an amazing example in so many more things that I could never fully list!

Below are some of the pictures I have found of him on my computer today.

I'm not sure if I can caption all of them because it took a lot to get through this post.

Snacking while waiting for Brittany to come out of the Temple after getting married!

After his back surgery he had this back brace that we named "The Turtle Shell" at our family gathering that summer all the grandkids and great grandkids colored pictures and wrote messages on his shell!

I will cherish these pictures forever! This is grandpa "stretching" Rondalynn after she was born! He admitted she was so tiny he was a little afraid to hold her but as soon as she got in his arms she stretched right now in a content sleep with a huge smile on her face!

Grandpa was known for "resting his eyes" pretty much anywhere he sat down! This time it was on my parent's couch with a rabbit for Rondalynn!

Even though these are blurry I still love them! Grandpa playing with Rondalynn!

In my many catch up posts I will post about this picture as well as have more pictures but this was too sweet not to share!

And so was this one!

Enjoying his famous biscuits and gravy with my dad at one of the Adam Reunions.

Here is an oldy but a goody! Grandpa and me playing video games when I was little!

Lastly is this priceless picture of him at a family Halloween party! I love this picture!

He will forever be missed and every family event will have that little empty spot!

I love you grandpa and will miss you!

But I know that families are forever and this isn't goodbye but until we meet again!
