Three Months!

Today is Ron and I have been married for three months! And it's been amazing!

First off isn't this picture awesome!!! Ron and I have both been told that our cake smashing was beyond awesome but was epic! Hahaha! I have to agree with the epic part!

Anyway here are what we have been up to during month three!

* We actually spent a month home without any traveling, which even though traveling is fun, it's still nice to stay home and just enjoy living the normal everyday life!

*Once again my hip decided to be goofy and I had to have a lot of tests, scans, drainage, breaks, a high change for a surgery, and a lot of meds. Ron showed how amazing and supportive he is by being there for me through it all and giving me a most beautiful and amazing blessing!

*Ron and I got called to be ward missionaries which we are just getting started with but I think we will both really enjoy it!

*Ron turned 29 on the May 24th and we went with his mom to this amazing Asian place called Flo's! It was beyond tasty! If we lived closure I know we would be there a lot more often!

*Ron got a new job as a Senior Developer for a web design company and now works in an office in Phoenix. But he still kept his part time job that he does from home as well. He is truly amazing and never stops to amaze me!

We got to be there to support my cousins Claudia and Josh when they blessed their super cutie Zeke! We are so happy for Josh and Claudia and their beyond cute little man!

*Finally we were able to get done with all of our thank you notes! Sorry all of the globetrotting we did so soon after getting married and my hip being goofy for a bit but the thank you notes on hold for a little bit but we thank you all for understanding!

That is it for month three in our start towards eternity and I can't wait to see what new, fun, and exciting things the next months, years, and so on has in store for us!

Titanic Premier!!

As some of you know Ron won our trip to London for one main reason, for us to be able to go to and walk the red carpet with the stars of the Titanic Premier in 3D for the 15th anniversary of the movie being released!

Now if you all know me I completely LOVE anything about Titanic! More so about the history of it but it was so unbelievably awesome to be able to go and do this! I took a good amount of photos that I  put into a slideshow for you all to enjoy!

Hip Adventure!

Do not worry my blog family! I am alive but due to my computer acting funny for a week and then a hiccup with my hip that I will tell you about shortly I got behind on my posting!

But never fear! I am back and have a good amount of catching up to do including finishing our London trip! So return back everyday because I will have a new post up every day up into the first week or so for June!

Now on to the hip madness!

If you are wondering why I posted a photo of my hip please don't be alarmed, I'm not trying to share my upper thigh with everyone! For most of you, you won't be able to see the swelling but trust me, it was horribly swollen! So bad in fact that only a few pairs of my pajamas and the ten of my old, before garment underwear could fit. Which I HATED not being about to wear my garments!

My doctor had me go into the hospital over night to get an x-ray, ultrasound, CT scan, MRI all of the hip, some labs including double blood cultures, and then I had to be put under slightly to have three huge pockets of fluid drained and then that fluid was sent to have tests done on it.

The swelling has gone down but the pain is the same and sadly is much, much worse then I want it to be. Sometimes the pain is just as bad as if I had just had surgery, so I'm still on pain meds that I'm not to happy about.

Last all my test results came back and I have a crack in my pelvis on the left crest, a hairline fracture in my left femur (both of which look about a month old and is slightly healing), a infection to the tissues around the hip, and my body is trying to reject my replacement.

So the treatment for this is almost complete bed rest, pain meds, nausea meds, steroids, antibiotics, muscle relaxers, and anti rejection meds. I will be on those for two weeks and then I will see my doctor again and I have the tests reran and then we will go from there.

My amazing husband has been beyond wonderful during all of this! He is truly amazing! He gave me one of the sweetest blessing and I know in the end everything will be okay!

That is what is going on right now and when more comes up I will let you all know! Thank you so, so much for all of your thoughts and prayers! I love you all!

Now remember to come back daily to see all the other things we have been up to!
