Spleen!

This is a poem that Karli wrote that I totally love and had to share with you all!

A Surgeon

There was a Surgeon, a smart lass of twenty-seven
Who most thought was an angel, and would surely get to heaven.
Her stunning looks and overly kind ways
Sent most single men into a trance or daze.
Her teeth were whiter than the clouds in the sky
And she spoke words sweeter than any kind of pie.
In attire, she boasted a doctor’s badge on the navy blue scrubs
That showed off her slim figure, definitely not a chub.
She seemed like the most ideal type of girl.
Now the name of this brunette surgeon was Pearl
And she had spent nine years studying spleens
Until she became an expert oh so keen.
In surgery, her mission was to remove the spleens that rot
And place them in a nice biohazard pot
Where later they’d go to a fiery flame,
Never again to make their owners feel lame.
Though in truth, Pearl removed very few spoiled spleens,
And this is why, deep down, Pearl was terribly mean,
With her sapphire stare and lips rosy pink,
Pearl would charm her male patients to think
Their spleens could not be mended, being dreadfully diseased
And would need to have removal in order to be appeased.
The love struck men fell for her awful cheat
Paying loads of money to her despicable deceit.
This dishonest income left her with wads of cash
That she spent on clothes, shoes, and a Chevy that could dash.
What’s even worse is the moral crushing fact
That Pearl would secretly hide in her own pack
The robust spleens from that pot of disgust
To later use to satisfy her ravenous lust.
Spleen casserole, spleen sandwiches, spleen stew,
There wasn’t anything malicious Pearl couldn’t brew.
When without an appetite, Pearl went online
To the black market to make profit of her habit so malign.
Illegal spleen eaters across the world love sales
Of Pearl’s illicitly stolen entrails.
To conclude, she may be quite a gorgeous, bright girl,
But be cautious, especially men, when there’s a hungry Pearl.

Pie!!!

Do you see this most beautiful thing!

This is a pineapple pie that my mommy made. Why did she make a pineapple pie you may ask? Well my Aunt Alonna made a pineapple pie for us when my parents were up there about a week and a half ago and the piece that was intended for me to feast upon and enjoy ended up in my father's belly.

I know isn't that the saddest story you have ever heard!

So guess who got the first, last, and a piece or two in between of this pie???

Me!!!!

Small things

Sometimes it's the small things in life that make us happy!

Konner made the bed all by himself with no nagging or prompting! It isn't pretty but it's made and that is all that matters!

Shameful!!

I'm a horrible fan!

Every year at the start of King Crab season I blog about my Deadliest Catch Captains and Crews as a good luck for the start of the season! Well guess what Friday was and guess what Kassi didn't do!

But this is my theory/excuse of why I didn't blog about it on the 15th. Well the 15th was Friday and any good Catch fan knows you never leave town on Friday, so I took that is you should never blog about the catch on a Friday! And second I would have done it yesterday but I was working and so I couldn't.

I think those are two good reasons of why I missed the start of King crab post! So this is my post to my men of my favorite tv show!

May they all have a safe and successful King Crab season!

Also as a side note my favorite boat the Cornelia Marie will once again be back for season seven next year minus my beloved Captain Phil Harris.

But his boys Jake and Josh will return as deckhands to continue their father's legacy!

And this is my random picture for you all, but at least it goes with the theme of the post! Isn't that the cutest pancake you have ever seen!!

Ouch!!

Okay so I had these pictures to post up here a couple of months ago and totally forgot that I had them! So now a couple of month late you get to hear about my life lesson!

I got some new skate shoes for work, which are super cute and awesome by the way! And I wore them around for a couple of days at home and jazz like that and I thought I had them completely broke in, so I wore them to work on a day I was on the floor and I was......

Completely wrong!! They were not broken in enough and this was the top of my swollen ankle!

And the side of my foot and ankle! It was beautifully swollen, bruised, and even my dragonfly there was a little stretched!

But on the plus side it finished breaking in my shoes and now they are like walking on lime green and white fluffy clouds, which is saying something seeing as I hate to wear shoes!

The Adventures of Llama Face and Gimp Girl continues!

And now we bring you the continuing saga of the Adventures of Llama Face and Gimp Girl!

"Llama Face! Do you hear that?"

"Why yes Gimp Girl I hear the sound of adventure!"

"Quickly to the Gimp mobile!

"I sense that our adventure must being with thinking and fine food!

"And I sense that you are crazy! But food is a must!"

Cherry cokes to quench our thirst!

Llama Face decided on chicken parmesan to build up his strength!

While Gimp Girl went the lighter route with soup, salad, and bread sticks!

After dinner the duo sensed that something was a foot at the half priced book store!

Upon searching the store we found several strange and questionable things!

First off in case you were wondering these are books and you read them.

The duo found themselves in the Romance section first! Llama Face was able to find the body he hopes to one day achieve!

Gimp Girl found some reading for her future husband!

Next was the self help section where Llama Face found some questionable reading!

And Gimp Girl found a book to help her out in at least one area of her life!

The team went from self help to the health section. "Llama Face you are allergic to Penicillin! Don't lick that!

Gimp Girl found the key to a long life!

The serious stuff was getting too boring so off the team went to the myth and folklore section! Llama Face found books on his two favorite things Unicorns and Fairies!

Gimp Girl couldn't decided between Vampires or Werewolves.

Somehow the duo found themselves in the politics section. Llama Face found this book.....need I say more.

Not that the person in there now is doing much better.

Finally Llama Face and Gimp Girl decided that they better head to the section that they felt most at home in!

Llama Face found a Cookie Monster book and...

Gimp Girl found a nice Elmo book to read!

Once the duo was done making sure that everything was fine in the bookstore and also after finishing reading their Sesame Street books, (which took Llama Face a little time to do) they returned to their secret lair and resumed normal human life! But stayed tune for the next adventure!

Piggie love!

So this is true love!

My mom and I have been trying to save some money since the holidays are coming up and so we have been doing our own pedicures at home. Trust me we are not good at it, at least I'm not! Well anyway my mom was having a hard time seeing to paint her toes. So my dad was more then happy to lend a hand!

See how happy he is to be painting her toes! And doesn't he look cute in his reading glasses. Yes he only needs them for reading.

I thought it was beyond cute to walk in and see him doing this Sunday night! It's so sweet!
