But I decided to share Ron and mine first three Halloween together since this is the last one with just him and I!

 
2011

This was about a week after getting engaged and we both just dug in our Halloween costume boxes to make our outfits for going out that night!

2012

We had been married here for about eight months and this is one of my favorite photos from our first annual Truex Family Halloween/family pictures! We once again dug in our Halloween costume box for our costumes but added masks for a Masque feel! This year for Halloween Ron was sick with a cold and Ron, Echo, and I were actually driving up to Manti, Utah for our Temple/Disneyland AKA our pre-babymoon trip!

 
2013

For our last year as just us two (plus our fuzzy baby) we went as gangsters to continue with our "Pregnancy Gangster" theme! You can't tell much from the pictures but my baby bump was really cute in this dress and when we took our pictures it fit perfectly and then a week later the dress wouldn't zip anymore! Since I'm pregnant and get tired very easily we are going to have a nice quiet Halloween at home watching fun Halloween movies!

Cancer Sucks!

I'm sure most of you know that October is breast cancer awareness month.

Since I feel that we should be aware of all cancers all through each and every month I don't post a lot about it.

I have two amazing aunts that have fought and won the breast cancer war and know many others who have fought both with winning and losing outcomes and each story touches mine heart just like every cancer story.

But I stumbled upon this on another blog and probably because of pregnancy hormones I cried like a baby and I knew that I needed to share it!

To be honest cancer scares me more than I can even describe!

It's something that every time I even get simple labs is in the back of my mind until I get the results back.

To be even more honest it's not completely the fight that scares me but it's honestly losing my hair. Yes the beauty of hair is that it grows back but I love my hair. It's one of my most favorite parts of myself but even with that fear if I ever got a diagnosis of cancer I would do this same exact thing!

Unscripted, raw, candid, and full of the emotions you know she is feeling at the time.

I find it completely beautiful!

I don't know who this women is but I applaud her for this video and hope she wins her battle!

A week or so ago I went over to my mom's and she asked if I wanted to go and pick up lunch for us two while she finished up lunch with the daycare kids and got them ready for naps/quiet time.

Well of course what pregnant women is going to say no to food so once we decided what we wanted I headed out to my car and was coming around to the driver's side when I noticed this on the roof of my car!

That would be one of Socrates' Beggin' Strips!

How, under the carport even, it got on top of my car I have no idea but how it lasted the entire ride over from my house to my mom's is even more puzzling and if that wasn't enough it lasted through my trip to get lunch and the ride back home before it disappeared probably from a bird.

But I have no idea how it got up there and thought it was funny!
 

Still The Best Question Ever!

In my 28 years on this earth I have been asked many different questions.

What's your name?

How are you doing?

Do you want fries with that?

Are you crazy?

And so on and so forth.

But two years ago today I was asked the best question in my entire life!

Yes two years ago Ron slipped a small wooden box into a shopping bag for me to find and asked me this most wonderful question!

I was giddy and excited in ways I still can't explain as I said yes and he put my beloved and unique engagement ring on my left hand where I've happily showcased it off since then!

Now two years later we are happily married and expecting our first baby!

The road leading me to Ron and this question and the road since that day hasn't always be fun or easy but I wouldn't trade that time or journey for anything or wish that I didn't get asked this question!

I love you Ron, more and more with each passing day and thank you so much for asking me the best question I could ever be asked!

Pre Soccer Pictures!

Alex and Kalia are playing soccer this fall and the day they got their uniforms Shelia took pictures of both of them in their uniforms and sent them to us.

A future blackmail picture of Alexzander picking a Wedgie! Hahahahaha! I see this being in the photo album you show that first girlfriend on the couch when she comes over for dinner!

Alexander's team is D.C. United.

And he is number 17.

I don't remember what Kalia's team name is.

But she is number 8!

Ron and I will hopefully make it to a game or two so get ready to enjoy those photos when we do!

I went to leave the other day to run some errands and as I pulled out of the drive way this is what I saw!

Poor baby luckily he had forgiven me by the time I got home!

Do You Feel Better Yet?

One afternoon pregnancy nausea hit me harder than it ever did in my first trimester!

It was horrible and made me glad I didn't have to feel that way through my entire first trimester!

Because it hit me so hard I took a Zofran (the glorious nausea drugs of the Gods!) and laid down to hopefully sleep it off!

When I woke up about an hour later, feeling much better, this is what I saw!

"Do you feel better mom?"

Isn't he cute!

I love how when he knows I don't feel good he follows me everywhere and watches me like this.

He is such a good dog!

If a lot of faces will be sad they will realize nothing is on TV on Tuesday nights.

If nothing is on TV on Tuesday nights it will lead to boredom.
