Ron's Birthday Celebration Part 1!

Ron's birthday is at the end of the month and this year we enjoyed two fabulous celebrations for him!

About a week and a half before his birthday Ron and I went on an awesome date to Benihana to use his birthday coupon!

Of course because I love Benihana I have more pictures of tasty food and the fabulous show to share!

Ron found out he could get a Samurai souvenir cup so he ordered a "virgin" or "mocktail" drink so he could get one! I'm thinking next year for my birthday I will do the same thing! Hahaha!

Pac Man Rice!!

Nom Nom Nom!!

Hehehe! My tasty lobster!

So Ron took the rest of his chicken fried rice and laid it out on his plate and made a "rice bed" for his food. When our cook saw this he decided that it needed to not be a bed but a face!

So here is his chicken eyes

and his shrimp hair!

The onion train with it's zucchini boxcar and mushroom people!

Choo Choo

Ron's food face with veggie nose, mouth, and hair!

My tasty plate waiting for the steak to finish it off!

Chicken sideburns on one side and

Steak sideburns on the other side! With that Ron's tasty dinner face was done and ready to eat!

Ron's samurai guarding his food!

My tasty dinner! Veggies, steak, and lobster!

This is what happened when Ron performed cosmetic surgery on his dinner face! Hahaha!

Our chef was very good and ended his show by tossing two to four shrimp tails in his hat at one time!

This one he bounced off the hood and into his hat! Nothing but net! Hahaha!

Of course you can't have a birthday celebration without candles!

Plus Benihana's ice cream is what I'm sure is the standard to be served in Heaven!

Blow out your candles and make a wish!

And lastly our picture of our fun and tasty night!

Like always it was fun, tasty, and a great way to celebrate a birthday!

Sleepy Papa!

A couple of weeks ago my Grandma and Grandpa Hatch was down in the Valley to go see my grandpa's oncologist, so while they were at my parent's house before their appointment I came over with Rondalynn since it's been two to three months since they have seen her.

Now my grandparents are more than in love with their great grandchildren, who they have call them GiGi (for the two G's in great grandma) and Papa, so they will often come down with small gifts of clothes or stuff animals for no reason at all except "It was just so cute and reminded me so much of them that I had to get it!"

Rondalynn is their 9th great grandchild and is also the youngest one right now until Claudia welcomes her little girl next month.

As soon as we got inside the house my grandparents dropped everything and excitedly put all their attention on Rondalynn, which besides when my grandma was feeding her and stopped to try to burp her for 15 minutes in between each ounce, she loved all the attention.

While my grandpa took a turn loving on her my grandma happily took out a bag and gave it took me saying "These were just so cute and reminded me so much of Rondalynn that I to get them!"

Inside the bag was two cute outfits and a stuffed pink bunny and white lamb.

My grandma then said she wanted to get Rondalynn the bunny and grandpa wanted to get her the lamb so they decided she needed both! Hahaha!

I thanked them for the gift and once my grandpa got done playing with her and my grandma was having another turn I came out of the bathroom to find this hilarious and precious picture moment!

Yep!

That would be Grandpa/Papa holding the pink bunny while he is "resting his eyes" on the couch!

I thought it was the sweetest, funniest, and best photo moment from him that I have been able to get in a long time!

It's pictures like this that I will always love and cherish and I hope when Rondalynn is older she will love them just as much as well!

Ten Years!

Believe it or not yesterday marked a big ten year anniversary!

Ten years ago this photo was taken!

Yep I graduated from high school 10 years ago!

Saying that out loud makes me feel so old!

In those ten years I have done, achieved, and been through so many things that have taught me so much!

I honestly can't wait for our ten year class reunion this fall so I can see old friends and catch up!

Sweet Potatoes!

About a week after she started eating rice cereal I decided it was time to give her food a little more flavor!

So one night for dinner I mixed her rice cereal with sweet potato baby food!

At first she didn't know what to think of it at first and of course I had to take pictures of it!

After a couple bites she really loved them and I couldn't get them in her mouth fast enough!

So for the next couple weeks we will be trying a different veggie every 3-5 days for dinner and then after she has been introduced to three or four veggies we will start her on the fruit in the morning with her breakfast rice cereal!

She is getting so big so fast but I'm loving all her fun milestones!

Babies, Babies, and More Babies!

On Mother's Day weekend two wonderful announcements were made!

The first was my bestie, Mrs. Tarin Lunt is expecting her second baby!!

A lot earlier then they had planned but she is very excited! And is due on December 2, 2014!!

I found out she was pregnant a couple weeks before and it was SO HARD not to tell anyone and start shopping for her! Hahaha!

The second announcement was this............

Yep Brittany and Davide are having a baby in November!!

I couldn't be more happy and excited for her them since I know they have been trying for a while!

It seems like babies are popping up every where and I'm so excited for every single one!

Mother's Day 2014!

This was my very first Mother's Day and it was awesome!

Rondalynn's adorable pink sparkly shoes finally fit so she got to wear them to church! Hehehe I love her baby feet!

My parents gave me money for a pedicure for my Mother's Day! My feet/toes were long overdue for one!

Here is all my wonderful Mother's Day gifts!

A book from Echo, homemade feet scrub, noodle flowers, and hand print book from Rondalynn, and a beautiful preserved rose from Ron!

Ron got me this rose and I COMPLETELY love it!

It's a real rose dipped in resin and then edged in platinum!

It's a birthstone rose in the color Garnet for January and on one petal it says "Rondalynn Izabella Truex" with a Garnet gem under her name.

And on another petal it says "January 9, 2014 @ 10:01 am" It means so much to me and we decided that we will get one for each of our children's first Mother's Day and also get one each for Ron and I to display in our home!

Of course I had to get a picture of Rondalynn with the rose but I had to wait until she was asleep so she wouldn't try to chew on it! Hahaha!

It was a great Mother's Day and I can't wait for all the rest that my future holds!
