Utah/Disneyland Trip 2012 Day 2 Part 2!

Day two of our vacation found us once again in the car heading to another location. Luckily this time instead of  it being a 8 or more hour trip it was only a two hour trip!

These next photos are the ones I took of all cute little towns we went through while we were on the road!

I'm sorry but for some reason this sign was completely funny to me so of course I got a picture of it as we drove by!

Like I said one of the best things about this trip this time around was the lack of snow! This was pretty much all the snow we saw and it was high on the mountains!

I'm a huge fan, follower, and admirer of Stephanie Nielson, so as we past Provo on the highway I saw her beloved Y mountain and had to get a picture of it!

As we got into down town Salt Lake this was one of the first things we saw!

After checking into our hotel which just like the hotel in Manti was across the street from the Salt Lake Temple! Ron had a minor thing for work that he needed to finish so while he was doing that back in the room Echo and I went to the temple ground to do the tourist things and sight see! These next few photos are from the temple grounds!

When Ron was almost done with his work he called us and asked us to find a place to eat and he would meet us there in ten or fifteen minutes. Echo had been told that if you have time and can get in, you have to go to the Garden Cafe at the top of the Joseph Smith building. So we headed over there to see if we could get in!

As luck would have it they had only a couple of four person parties there so we were able to get right in and had this amazing view!

Because the view was so amazing I, once again, got picture crazy! Here is some of my favorites!

After a very tasty dinner we headed back to the hotel so Ron could get dressed and we could get our temple bags.

We made it for the last session of the day, it was amazing, and by the end of the night I could mark going and doing work in the Salt Lake temple off of my bucket list!

After the session we decided to take some pictures of the temple and reflection pool since it was on our way back to the hotel and their was hardly anyone there so we could get some pretty amazing pictures!

Ron loves taking reflection pictures and after he took those pictures he got a little bit of the photo bug I think not only for his edited picture but because he knew he could get some beautiful pictures! These next few photos are the ones he took!

Just like all of the Lord's Houses the Salt Lake Temple was beautiful and I'm so glad we decided to go to this temple during our trip!

This beautiful spirit and sight was a great way to end the second day of our vacation!
