Hatch Family Halloween Party

Again this year since we were going to have Shanna and her girls in town around Halloween we decided to throw a Halloween family party at our house!

This year we asked that each family bring a different soup! My mom made tomato basil, I made clam chowder, Shanna made cheesy potato, Lori made potato and ham, Lou made split pea, MeKell made hamburger soup, and Claudia made butternut squash! I had to try at least a few bites of each and all of them were so good!

After dinner we got pictures of those of us that came dressed up!

Josh and Claudia were awesome as rednecks! Claudia had a towel stuffed into her shirt, Josh had an empty beer can he carried around and trashy tattoos, and of course Claudia's fake black eye completed the outfit!

The Burch family came with a Harry Potter theme! Complete with two totally cute owls!

Us crazy Larsons were a witch, a gangsta, a girl in pajamas (I was in my costume earlier but got tired of it and decided to change), and Shaggy from Scooby-Doo!

Shanna and Eden were the evil witch and Snow White. Luckily this Snow White was a lot smarter and didn't take the apple!

Aunt Lori was a hippie and Uncle Sid who for some reason wasn't in the picture was the devil and again miss Emma was an owl!

After pictures we started the games! Along with soup each family had to bring a game or activity for us to do! First the Hostetter's brought songs for us to go Halloween caroling! For some reason I didn't take my camera but all of us went over to our neighbors, the Miner's, and sang them some songs. It was really fun and even funnier to watch! When we got back to planned our game which was musical chairs!

Now as much as I love my family I have to say that we are very competitive so because of this I decided that if I was to participate it could result in a need for a new hip, so I was the camera women instead, which was a lot safer!

And David agreed with this! Hehehe!

These next set of pictures are of our musical chair game!

Once musical chairs was over and Hunter was named champion we moved on to the Burch's game of pass the pumpkin!

Most of the pictures taken while this game was played, words can not explain, mostly because we were all laughing way too much!

After the pumpkin was passed and my line won (yeah we rock socks!) we played Josh and Claudia's game of minute to win it!

Claudia had set up two different "minute to win it" games we could play. First was cereal box puzzles. Here you have a minute to put the puzzle made out of a cereal box together.

The second game she had was a board with sewing needles stuck in and you had to one minute to thread all the needles.

The last game we played was the mummy wrapping game! This game was also a hoot to watch!

But by far the best part of the game was when we had a couple mummy showdown with MeKell and Deke and Claudia and Josh!

The finished mummies!

And one with their husbands!

It was a fun night and by the end we all felt just like this!
