New York!!

So I just got back from three days in New York and it was awesome! I totally want to go back and see it again! I put all my pictures on a slide so sit back and enjoy!!

The funeral

So yesterday was my Great Aunt Claudette's funeral. It was harder then what I thought it was going to be. My baby brother even cried for parts of it. She looked totally beautiful and at peace so that was very nice. The family was all very supportive of each other and even though it was hard it was great to see all of them and us pull together to comfort each other.

I'm at work today upstairs in our newly opened second overflow unit. Yep that is right we are so crazy busy that we have to have two overflow units! Their is only one other nurse up here today so we only have four patients which is nice but you have to have two people up here at all times that knows the CPR. But it is a really nice day and since I'm still really drained still from yesterday I'm glad to be up here!

Aunt Claudette

Well I am here at work again today but with great sadness

My great Aunt Claudette passed away this morning. She was a frighter and never gave up at all. We were happy to have her here for so long and I will always remember all those times going to her home and feeling so welcomed and having so much fun.

She will be greatly missed and loved but I'm sure that her reunion with her parents and her daughter up in heaven this morning was a great and a joyous one and that gives me peace along with the knowledge that I will get to see her again one day.

Jamba Juice!!

You know I love the Jambe Juice!! I got one this morning on my way to work and it is so yummy! I Mego Mango with no strawberries but with pineapple sobret instead. Yeah it's pretty amazing! I know a pretty stupid thing to start a post out with but all well I'm here at work and bored right now.

It is an extra day and I am up on a different peds unit helping out. I have decided that I'm going to see if they have a spot open in the peds resource team for a my job. If they do I totally want to do it. Then I will go all over the Children's Hospital and be able to work any day I want, get a raise, and only have to work I think one major holiday a year and two minor or something like that! I really hope that they have one because that would be awesome and I will still get to work with the people that I love to work with! If they don't have one open now I will just have to keep my eyes open for one!

It's raining outside today! Yay!! I love the rain! I wish I wasn't at work today so I could just at home and watch the rain and all.

You know what I need some Trix but I think work is out of them! Sad = ( I haven't had any for like five days so that is no good! Oh man I just remembered that I left my Oh's cereal at home!Sadness again = (

Okay I guess I should go back to work even though right now their is nothing to do right now!

Super Bowl Sunday!

So today is Superbowl Sunday and I am at work. = ( I know sad day! Now I won't be able to sit at home in my slippers and watch the commericals or eat all the food that my parents have made. Oh well I brought a lot of food to munch on all day and I guess that would have to do! Maybe my mommy will bring me a Jamba Juice or something! "hint" "hint"




So yesterday was Gordon B Hinckley's funeral and it was really amazing to watch and to see how much and how many people loved him. I didn't cry through the whole thing until the end of the service and then I sobbed like a huge baby. My dad even cried which made me cry even harder because I always cry when my dad cries because it takes a lot to make him cry. I have to say that as long as I live I will never forget watching that and the feelings I had while doing so. I even think my Llama Face got all teary eyed too. So both of the men in my life were crying!!!!

Okay since I started this blog at 9 am and it is now 1:30pm I guess I should just end it now that I have down time because I may never get it done!!
