The Sunday of Memorial Day weekend was the official start of pool season at our house and this year it meant Rondalynn's first time swimming!
Now I decided a few years ago that I would get modest swimsuits for my girls no matter what age they are. Then when they are 18 they can decide what type of swimsuit they want to wear.
I just don't think it's cute or decent to have baby and little girls in tiny little two pieces showing off their tummies or more chest area.
So it will be one pieces or tankiki's for my girls that cover their tummies and have good chest coverage!
So with that being said when we went shopping for swimsuits I found this!
Isn't it adorable!!
But I still felt it was missing something, so.............
She got a white, floppy sun hat too!
But I still thought she needed one more thing as a finishing touch, so...........
I busted out a pair of her sunglasses!
Now Rondalynn was ready to go swimming!
Daddy was keeping her entertained while the rest of us got ready for the pool!
And during that time she was trying to share her hat with daddy!
Finally we were all ready and we went out to the pool with her cute little float with cover in tow. Mommy had the camera all ready as daddy placed her into the float and..............
This happened!
Then this!
And some more of this just to make sure she knew she was not amused at all with this swimming business!
Daddy then took her hat off that kept falling in her eyes and switched it out for her sunglasses.
She made sure she gave one more tiny protest before..........
Settling down.
Once her protest was over and she was calm she actually really enjoyed it until about fifteen or so minutes later when she realized her diaper was far wetter than she likes it to be!
She was super cute though and I'm hoping the more she goes swimming the more she will enjoy it!
