Alexzander's Preschool Graduation!

At the start of the Summer Alexzander graduated preschool!

Sadly I was dealing with a nasty bladder/kidney infection so Ron and I couldn't make it but of course Echo took a ton of pictures!

So I "borrowed" these from her to blog about!

He was woken up from a nap so they could go to the graduation which he wasn't happy about so Echo said that he didn't sing and got through half a song or just one song before he started to cry and had to go sit with Shelia.

Kalia even took some pictures with Echo's phone during the graduation!

Luckily Alex was in a better mood for that!

Yesterday Ron and I went in for my mid pregnancy ultrasound and we got to find out the gender!!

A Girl!

Yep our Little Munchkin is a girl! And we are very excited!

Hehehehe! Sorry I saw the bow idea on Pinterest when I first got pregnant and toyed with doing it if the baby was a girl, so in my excitement this afternoon after the scan I said what the heck let's do it!

Bat Affleck!

Okay I have to vent my grumpiness with this matter!

Don't worry it's a small grumpy rant that may seem funny but you know me and I do what I want!

If you've been on Earth the past week you should have heard that the actor to play the New Batman in the Superman and Batman movie coming out in 2015.

That actor is Ben Affleck.

Now I like Ben Affleck in the girly, romantic, slightly funny movies, or in some dramas if the script is right. And I think he is an amazing writer, producer, and director!

BUT HE IS BEYOND 100% NOT A SUPERHERO ACTOR!!

Do you remember DareDevil?

Yeah a lot of people block that out and sadly it's because Ben Affleck can't pull off the Superhero.

Also I'm a strong believer that if you played one Superhero once you can't be placed in the roll of another one!


Come on that's just confusing and crazy!

So if you are wondering I'm not happy with the new Batman and honestly I'm very sad and disappointed in the choice of actor, so much in fact I probably won't rush out to see this movie in theaters when it comes out.

But if Ben Affleck can pull it off and prove me wrong more power to him and I will take back what I said!

Mimi's 80th Birthday Party!

So I forgot my camera when we were hurrying out the door to head down to Casa Grande for the Mimi's 80th Birthday Party so these are the photos that Echo took during the party!

These are all the grandkids, their spouses, and the great grandkids that were there.

This is Mimi opening up the gift we got her with the help of Alex and Kalia.

Echo made and had each of her kids, their spouses, and her grandkids decorate a quilt square which she turned into a really cute and unique quilt for Mimi!

The party was small but fun and a lot of family came in from out of state and town to attend!

The birthday girl was happy and love it!

Cupcakes, Cooies, and Cooffles!

Last month Mimi (Echo's mom) turned 80 and we had a small party for her!

Tomorrow I will post about the party but let me show you all that I made for the party!

Eight hours worth of a table full of yumminess!

I did two dozen each of Confetti cupcakes, carrot cupcakes, and red velvet cupcakes!

Six dozen of Ron's signature recipe of "Cooies" Which are cookies and brownies put together with some sprinkled with coconut and the others with pistachio and all of them drizzled with homemade raspberry simple syrup!

And three dozen "Cooffles" Which is a cooie made into a a truffle rolled in coconut or pistachio!
 

It was a lot of work but fun and we hardly had any left over!

Cow Appreciation Day 2013!

Once again a month later you are getting to enjoy my Cow Appreciation Day 2013!

You know you're excited!

First off I have to give props to Ducky for not only going with me but also so actually being excited and happy to go with me!

At our second Chick-Fil-A we ran into my second cousin Ruth and her litter cows! Of course I had to get a picture with them!

I didn't get a car picture of us as we headed to our third and final Chick-Fil-A but here we are waiting in line at our third Chick-Fil-A!

Of course while we were there this crazy storm came rolling in so we only took this picture with us and our killer ice cream before heading home!

This was the storm going on as we left to get in the car.

They had this awesome blow up cow in the front that blew over because of the wind!

I wish we would have got a picture in front of it before we went in!

Within seconds of us starting our drive home it was like this! Don't worry I was parked when I took this!

But it was a lot clearer by the Gilbert Temple so I was able to get this pictures while at red lights!

Our bounty as well as our ice cream from the third Chick-Fil-A! Again this was our dinner that night!

One of my favorite things from Chick-Fil-A! Buttermints! Yummy!

And lastly our end of the day picture, a little dark from the storm!

It was a lot of fun as allows and Konner and I are both excited to do it next year with the new little cow to tag along!
