The week before Mother's Day Alex and Kalia was staying the night with Grandma Echo and I decided to do a Mother's Day craft/gift for Alex and Kalia to do!
Like always I got picture crazy so enjoy! Hahahaha!
Salt dough all ready to mix!
All ready in the pans for hand prints!
We had to spray a little Pam on their hands so they wouldn't stick to the dough! Here is Alex's hand!

And now on to the baking! Alex and Kalia didn't like that this took three hours to bake and then another hour to cool!
Finally after what the kids thought was forever they were ready for the next step!!
That next step would be FINGER PAINTING TIME!

Ron and I couldn't help doing this to Alexzander after he was done and getting ready to shower!

The finished works! Kalia's is the pink on and Alex's is the one that looks like Earth. I had to pour out about a cup of paint off of Alex's so it could dry!
When they were dry I put their names and the year on it.
And lastly wrapped them up so the kids could give them to Shelia the next Sunday!
The kids and I had fun and I'm sure it won't be our last crafts/projects!
