If you all follow my blog you should remember in August of 2008 I posted about my dear Great Aunt Cheryll who suffered a brain aneurysm. It was very bad and she had a eight or nine hour surgery the night it happened. She was in the hospital for a while and then in a rehab home after that. For a while she didn't know anyone, where she was, or even simple everyday life things. Then she started to get better, to remember more, to recognize people and places. She didn't understand what was going on and once she got better she was able to leave the rehab facility on the weekends and stay at her home with her family. And when she had to go back she hated it and would get upset, she knew where she needed and wanted to be! She is now in a group home but is visited everyday for hours at a time. She may not be able to remember what happened or how to play zine check anymore. She may not say "Oh hell sister!" to family and then laugh as we all laugh at her response. But she is home and here with us at that is all that matters!
I borrowed two of these pictures from Peggy's Facebook so I hope she will forgive me but they were just so precious that I had to blog about them!

There she is in the middle with some of her rather large family!
This is her and her husband Uncle Hal! This was taken a few years ago at one of the Hunt reunions!
And this is them now! Uncle Hal has been the picture of a perfect husband since this all happened! He never once thought of leaving her or not supporting and helping her through all of this. He was determined to have the love of his life back with him and he got that! The first time I saw this picture I cried! That is true and everlasting love at it's finest!
