Karli's Wall-E poem

Last week Karli had a poem slam during her English class.

So this is her practicing the night before for us all! Of course in true Karli form she had to go all out with sun glasses and bongo drum!

Karli getting her groove on and getting into character!

So here is Karli's poem that she did for the class.

WALL-E

Worn and rusty,
WALL-E is a Romeo in disguise.
His charm is as attracting
As honey is to a bear, and his innocence
Screams cuteness.

His exterior may be cold
And metallic,
But his interior is packed
With love…
and cubes of rubbish.

Dependable is his middle name,
As he has worked at the same job
For 70 decades.
Not to mention, he is a guy
Of musical talent.
Show tunes and choreographed dances
Are wired in his circuits.

His robotic voice
Is irresistible sweet,
And his bellow of “EVE”
Causes thousands
Of household appliances
To be envious.

He’s a mechanism of humor,
Lighting a dull room with laughter
By his clumsiness and unfortunate luck

Being a machine of few words,
His actions speak mostly
For the words he doesn't utter.

Feeding cockroaches Twinkles
And risking his life
For DIRECTIVE.

Giving the Earth
Another chance of inheritance
Is just one
Of his selfless feats.

Boy, it might be very swell
If human guys behaved
This way as well.

She is so talented and funny! And yes she took the sun glasses and bongo drum with her to class so she could perform with it!
