Utah/Disneyland Trip 2012 Day 2 Part 2!

Day two of our vacation found us once again in the car heading to another location. Luckily this time instead of  it being a 8 or more hour trip it was only a two hour trip!

These next photos are the ones I took of all cute little towns we went through while we were on the road!

I'm sorry but for some reason this sign was completely funny to me so of course I got a picture of it as we drove by!

Like I said one of the best things about this trip this time around was the lack of snow! This was pretty much all the snow we saw and it was high on the mountains!

I'm a huge fan, follower, and admirer of Stephanie Nielson, so as we past Provo on the highway I saw her beloved Y mountain and had to get a picture of it!

As we got into down town Salt Lake this was one of the first things we saw!

After checking into our hotel which just like the hotel in Manti was across the street from the Salt Lake Temple! Ron had a minor thing for work that he needed to finish so while he was doing that back in the room Echo and I went to the temple ground to do the tourist things and sight see! These next few photos are from the temple grounds!

When Ron was almost done with his work he called us and asked us to find a place to eat and he would meet us there in ten or fifteen minutes. Echo had been told that if you have time and can get in, you have to go to the Garden Cafe at the top of the Joseph Smith building. So we headed over there to see if we could get in!

As luck would have it they had only a couple of four person parties there so we were able to get right in and had this amazing view!

Because the view was so amazing I, once again, got picture crazy! Here is some of my favorites!

After a very tasty dinner we headed back to the hotel so Ron could get dressed and we could get our temple bags.

We made it for the last session of the day, it was amazing, and by the end of the night I could mark going and doing work in the Salt Lake temple off of my bucket list!

After the session we decided to take some pictures of the temple and reflection pool since it was on our way back to the hotel and their was hardly anyone there so we could get some pretty amazing pictures!

Ron loves taking reflection pictures and after he took those pictures he got a little bit of the photo bug I think not only for his edited picture but because he knew he could get some beautiful pictures! These next few photos are the ones he took!

Just like all of the Lord's Houses the Salt Lake Temple was beautiful and I'm so glad we decided to go to this temple during our trip!

This beautiful spirit and sight was a great way to end the second day of our vacation!

Utah/Disneyland Trip 2012 Day 2 Part 1!

Day two of our vacation we woke up after about four hours of sleep to start our Temple going adventure!

We went to the Manti Temple last December but it's so beautiful and one of Echo's favorites so it was a must for this trip as well!

Echo left a about an hour before Ron and I did to do a session. Since Ron was still fighting a cold and doing a lot of coughing him and I decided not to do a session this time but just do other temple work.

Ron and I in front of the temple!

Another one of Ron and I in front of the temple!

Ron and Echo in front of the temple!

And again Ron and Echo in front of the temple! Ron was and is such a great sport with all the pictures I like to take all the time!

Ron is a master and so talented when it comes to photo editing! I'm sure I've said it before but he edited 95% or more of our engagement, wedding, and family pictures! He also has taken pictures of the temples we have been to since we got married and did amazingly beautiful editing to them and has given many away as gifts and gave me the idea to put a 8x10 of each one he has done in order of when we went there in a binder to have in our home to share with others!

Anywho, sorry for getting somewhat sidetracked! Since Ron has started doing this we knew he would do it for the Manti temple as well. Even more so since it's Echo's favorite and would love a picture designed by Ron to display!

So the rest of the photos are taken mostly by Ron, so he could get a good shot and angle he would want as the starting point to his editing!

Just like last year it was amazing to be able to go to this temple and do the work for others, even though I will admit it was a lot better driving and walking around this time since there was no snow, ice, or storm like  last time, and I'm sure this won't be the last time that we come here!

Once the we were done with pictures we got back into the car, waving goodbye to Manti as we headed off to our next vacation adventure!

Utah/Disneyland Trip 2012 Day 1!

Yep, I'm super behind on my blog so get ready for 28 days of posts! (Including this one!) Yes I'm really that far behind and I know as the busy holiday season continues, I'll have a lot more to post!

On Halloween Ron, Echo, and I left the Valley around two and headed up to Manti, Utah!

Ron and Echo worked a half day that day and these two pictures are Ron's company costume!

Denis, Ron's boss, got mustaches for all his employees and then he rocked the red clown nose!

These next few pictures are random ones I took during the drive!

This is me in my Halloween costume at our last gas station stop at 1am Utah time!

Yep! I was a crazy Suns fan who wears her sunglasses at night for Halloween!

With Ron, who was fighting a cold, asleep in the back seat Echo and I rolled into Manti around 2am Utah time. We couldn't help it or wait and since it was so close to our hotel we drove past the temple before checking into our room!

These next two photos were from our hotel!

And this was from the parking lot of our hotel! They don't lie, it really is Temple View Lodge!

Even if it just was a traveling day it was still fun! But get ready to enjoy six more days and many more posts of most of the pictures my crazy self took!
