Okay so here is the reason Ron and I were up in Holbrook, I mean yes I have family there and yes my dad grew up there and yes it has some sort of small town charm but honestly if I had a choice between Holbrook and Disneyland I'm sorry but Mickey wins! Anyway it was my Grandma and Grandpa Larson's (or the Drandma and the Drandpa) 50th wedding anniversary and we were doing what the Larson clan does best which is party!

Miss Kimmy Pie was a gem and took some cute photos of all of us before the party started!

And the couple that started it all! My grandma Linda and grandpa Wendell!

My grandparents and five of their six children! Aaron wasn't able to make it from Tennessee but we still love him!

My grandparents with their kids and their spouses!

My uncle Sterling and his daughter Alicia

My parents and their circus!

My uncle Russell, aunt Cary, and Avlee!

My aunt Barb and her babies Brennan and Ashlynn!

All of the grandkids! Sadly I am the oldest by five years and without my shoes I'm the third shortest! The only two under me is Brennan and Avlee and they both have eight to ten years of growing left to do and they both have fathers that could sub in for the Jolly Green Giant!

I love this one! Cary has always completely loved my grandpa!

My sexy husband and myself!

My grandparents with Ron and I!

My grandparents with their son and daughter Sterling and Alonna!

And lastly Alonna and Alicia!

The rest of these photos are just random ones that I took during the party!

Some of the decor!

More decor, that whole table was full of pictures of my grandparents, their children, and all of their grandchildren through the years!

And of course the grub table!

My dad, setting stuff up!

My Llama making sure the stage doesn't run off!

It was a super fun night, celebrating such a beautiful and joyous thing!

Love you always Drandma and Drandpa and thanks for starting it all and setting such an amazing example!

Holbrook Trip June 2012 Part 1

Moving right along with catch up train and our next stop is Ron and my trip to Holbrook the first weekend of June!

When we first got there we stopped and had dinner at my most favorite place to eat in Holbrook, Wayside!! Just typing it's name makes me almost drool!

My tasty dinner!

And oh yes my amazing pineapple coke!!

Next we went and checked into the hotel and this was right outside of our door. I don't know why but I love these break glass in case of an emergency cases!

I don't know why but I love taking pictures of our hotel rooms! So here is our bed!

Shower and potty!

Mirror and TV!

And our bathroom sink!

But the best part of our hotel wasn't in our room but was at breakfast the next morning! Oh yes make your own waffles!!

So this was my boring day one Holbrook Trip part one post!

Cherries!

Come on ya'll know if I didn't have at least a couple random posts in my catch up that it honestly wouldn't fully be me!

In case you all were wondering June is one of my favorite months! Why you may ask? Well it really has mostly to do with cherries!

Yes cherries! They are tied with pineapple as being my favorite fruit but sadly they are only in season here for such a short time that I have to devote almost all my snacks to cherries when they are in season!

But here is my random! I was eating them one day and I found this cute couple!

So me and my randomness I had to snap a picture before I ate them! Hehehe!

Day With Kalia!

Okay time for catch up! This happened sometime in May but like I said I have about ten hundred posts!

One day my cutie little niece was sick and couldn't go to daycare so I got to watch he all day! She was perfect and happily went with me to the store, bank, post office, and to get lunch, cheerfully saying hi to everyone who passed her!

That afternoon she laid on the couch and we watched about 15 minutes of Cars until her eyelids became to heavy to fight anymore and she surrendered to a nap complete with Violet the stuff dog that talks and says her nap that Uncle Ron gave her when she was born. The funny part about this was her feet were right up my chest and resting on my shoulders the entire time!

I'm Alive!!

Alright I know that I have been a MAJOR slacker on the whole blogging business, but I'm back with about ten hundred posts for you! Don't lie you know you're excited! But I thought at first that I would give you a small update on what has kept me away from my blogging family!

So first I had a hiccups with my hip that I'm pretty sure I touched on before, well on Friday the 13th I was at my house and Konner was with me and I got stung by a baby scorpion that I thought was an Arizona Bark Scorpion. A level 3 scorpion on a scale of 1 being nothing and 5 being deadly. This is pretty much the baddest of the scorpions in Arizona (honestly we most have only two types here the Yellow Tail, which is at a level 1, and the Arizona Bark) I've been stung by this type of scorpion before and thought nothing of it and elevated my foot with a cool compress to sooth the burn and sat down to watch Bones with Ducky. Well about ten minutes later I was having horrible reactions to the venom. My vision was crazy blurry, I couldn't feel a lot of my lower body, I was shaking, and I had the most nastiest taste in the back of my throat! So Konner called my dad who works right by where I live and was just getting off of work to come get us and take me to the ER. And I have to say Konner was so chilled and awesome about it all! He didn't even freak out! So anywho they gave me some meds, didn't draw labs, and sent me home. Well the next day things go so much worse and I had to go back into the ER and it was then I learned that I wasn't stung by an Arizona Bark scorpion but a crossbred that was probably bred here from a deadly scorpion from Brazil!

So you take this.........................

The Arizona Bark scorpion!

And breed it with this..........................

The scary and ugly looking scorpion from Brazil whose name I forgot!

And you get.............................

A hell of a lot of these! As well as a lot of meds, fluids, spinal taps, blood filtering, tons of labs, lots of scans, the loss of five pounds, and a blood tap!

But I'm on the mend now and venom free so all is fabulous once more! Oh and the best part about this story is my knight and shinning puppy, Socrates, came over when I got stung and said ouch and ate the thing! He was looking out for me and don't worry he is perfectly fine and it didn't effect him at all!
