I think I may be in love

Yesterday at work I got floated to another unit and........

I got to play with some of these,

and fall in love again with the very tiny ones!

I forgot how much I love NICU babies!

A disturbance in the Force!!

So where we going?!?!?!

So last week I was going somewhere to drop Konner off and decided to take Raven with me. I opened the passenger side door and she jumped right in and quickly did this!

Jumped right in the driver's seat!

Sadly since she is lacking a license, feet that reach the pedals, and imposable thumbs I had to kick her out of the driver's seat and back in the passenger seat!

Randomness!

Here is some fun randomness for you this morning since I haven't uploaded any of my other pictures and I'm at work!

I came across this article this morning and this was the picture!

A bride and groom in England decided to have a super hero/villain wedding! The bride was Wonder Women and the groom was Batman. The best man was Joker and the bridesmaids were the Powerpuff Girls! If I didn't want a normal fairy tale wedding I may have been tempted to do this!

Rock Star!

Okay this is a tooting my own horn post which I don't like to do but I want my grandparents and other far distance family and friends to know what is going on in my world!

So at work we have something called Rock Star of the month which is kinda like employee of the month but way cooler. For this your co-workers nominate you and then you get this.......

Fabulous poster to be hung up in the break room for everyone to see! I was really surprised and honored to be chosen! They have you fill out a form with all these questions like:

What is your favorite cereal? Trix!

What did you do before working in the medical field? Sold donuts at Dunkin' Donuts!

What was your favorite toy growing up? My ghostbusters and Ninja Turtle action figures and my baby dolls!

What super power would you choose if you have one? The power to adapt other powers because they are all too cool to just pick one!

Also they like to add to poster board something that you like or a catch phase you use or something of that nature. Well it is a well known secret that I LOVE the Backstreet Boys, so my board got a fabulous piece of Backstreet eye candy to go along with it!

Again it was a huge honor to be nominated and my co-workers said awesome things and I love working with them so much! You guys rock my socks!!

Cow Appreciation Day 2010

Another adventure while our parents were gone was the yearly cow appreciation day!! So we got all cowed up to go and get FREE Chick-Fil-A not once but twice!

We went to breakfast first at a Chick-Fil-A by the movies.

We went to the one by the movies so we could go in all of our cow glory to see Toy Story 3! Here we are waiting for the movie to start. It was really funny because I got up to answer a phone call from Llama 20ish minutes into the movie and a little girl in the back yelled "Mommy she has a tale too!!

After the movie we were to the mall for a Chick-Fil-A lunch and got these most sexy hats! Konner in his.

And lastly us with the cow! We had a very fun filled day and got a lot of compliments on our outfits! And Konner can't wait for next year!

Triple dog dare!

A weekend or so ago my parents and Karli went out of town for youth conference, meaning that I got to entertain the Ducky! One night when they were gone we decided to go get one of those big half baked cookie Al-la-mode.

While waiting for our most fabulous cookie to get to the table Konner took his lemon out of his water and of course I had to make the dare!! I triple dog dared him to not only eat his lemon but to do it when some salt added!

Being the boy to never back down to a dare, let alone a triple dog dare he took the challenge!

And his face was priceless!

But in the end he got to have this!

And I think we both more then enjoyed it!
