Tender Moment!

I'm still behind on a couple of posts that my goal is to be caught up on before Thanksgiving but I had the most overwhelming feeling that I needed to skip ahead and do this post!

My Grandpa Hatch or Papa Hatch to his great grandbabies has been really sick for the past month and a half about.

Even though his cancer hasn't gotten worse or spread other things have been going on that I will post about more in one of my catch up posts in the next coming weeks.

Right now he is down here in Mesa at the hospital and the night he got here my parents and brothers went to see him and my Grandma Hatch or Gigi to the great grandbabies.

I didn't know they were going and later that night I got on Facebook like I do at the end of the day to catch up on the lives of my family and close friends and this picture was one of the first things I saw that my mom had posted that night!

Instant hot, heart breaking tears rolled down both my cheeks within seconds of seeing it!

That is my Ducky in one of the most tender moments I have ever seen!

My mom said he was having a hard time seeing grandpa like this and you can tell in this picture but more than anything you can see the pure love, gratitude, and respect he has for our tough cowboy grandpa!

In an instant my baby brother was no longer a 15 year old teenage boy but was years older than his birth certificate states.

To me this picture is telling our grandpa everything he could every want to say to him and in a way is his own silent and personal way of saying I love you and goodbye.

These are two of my favorite men and in a way I feel sorry for Konner and almost guilty that I have gotten almost 30 years with this wonderful man and Ducky has only had half that amount.

But I know that when he is called home to be with our Father in Heaven he will be whole, healed, watching over, blessing us, and kissing and spoiling every single one of those great grandbabies waiting to come to earth.

Until then I will forever cherish this picture and I know no matter how many times I see it my heart will swell even more with love!

And I thank the Lord he allowed my mom to capture this most tender and sweet moment that we will all cherish!

10 Months!

Whoever allowed my daughter to turn 10 months did not okay it with me! Hahaha!

Today my baby girl is 10 months old and no longer in the single digits of months in this first year of life! Which has gone by at record speed!

Here are the photos from our mini monthly photo shoot this morning!

She loves her piggies!

And doesn't like to sit still very long!

Mommy had to step in with tickling to get some more pictures from my wiggling girl!

And like always here is our monthly update photo!

It's honestly mind blowing how fast she is growing up and how much she is growing and doing each day but I wouldn't trade a single second of it!

RTK Family and Halloween Photos 2014!

You know when September rolls around it's time for our yearly family and Halloween pictures!!

Here are some of my favorites from the ones that our photographer edited!

Since we knew what the Little Bean was we decided that this would be a great time to take a picture for Rondalynn to announce the big news!

She was so cute! She looked down at the chalk board a couple pictures in after not smiling at all and it looked like she was reading the chalk board and then she looked up and just beamed with smiles for the rest of this pose!

She is excited to be getting a baby brother!

Of course our family photo isn't complete without Socrates in it!

I love this picture!

She really loves her daddy!

And I'm pretty sure he is beyond in love with her!

Squeaky with family feet and little brother's shoes!

I love this squishy face!

She was so happy sitting in that chair!

Since we were taking our Halloween pictures as well we brought Rondalynn's Halloween costume!

A cupcake!

Between her having to wear her topping hat and the bugs that were horrible where we were taking pictures she was not happy with the being a cupcake!

This year's Truex family costume is the Star Fleet crew of the USS TNT-20122902!

And lastly a cute little picture of the Little Bean's accessories!

Of course he had to have a hat like Daddy's!

Besides for the horrible bugs we had a great and fast photo shoot!

And once again I'm in love with all of our photos!

Helping With Halloween Decor!

Earlier this month my mom was watching Rondalynn while I was at an appointment and she decided to go out and hang her Halloween decor outside.

Of course you can't hang your Halloween decor without someone in charge to give direction!

Rondalynn was the Halloween decor foreman and made sure everything was up and looked right!

Just a 10% Chance of Rain!

In September we got the mother load of all rain storms!

In one day we got more rain then we had gotten in the past three years all together!

That morning Rondalynn and I were on our way to an appointment and while at a stop light I snapped these photos with my phone!

The water was up and over the sidewalk and was washing up on the landscaping on the street corner making it look like a beach with waves rolling in!

Within seconds of me taking this picture this construction sign fell over and literally started floating away!

It was a crazy rainstorm but a much needed one for our dry desert!
