Suns game!

On the 11th of November (yes I know I'm behind) Lynsey and I scored some free tickets to the Phoenix Suns vs the Sacramento Kings game! Thank you to the awesome and fabulous lady and gave us the tickets!

Now all of the games I have ever been too I have been up in the way top section where the players look like little ants. But these were our seats! I thought they were awesome!

My boys warming up!

More warming up!

And even more warm-up!

Some defense!

Some more defense!

And I first half free throw!

At half time the Dancing Dad's came out!

These guys who ranged in age from 20 something to over 50 were pretty much awesome!

And I'm completely convinced that my dad must try out next year! Can't you see him doing this!!

Then of course at half time I had to get a lot of pictures of them warming up since they were now closer to my side of the court.

More warm-up!

And even more warm-up!

And guess what this is....more warm-up!

And now it's on to the second half!

Yeah it was pretty much awesome! And we won 103 to 89!

And yes I am aware that it took me over a month to post this but oh well!

Pots and dinosaur bones

On December 4th, my friend Alex and I went out to the Southwest Museum and downtown Mesa! It was a ton of fun!

We made a dinosaur!

Which we were both happy about! (He has the picture of me and the dinosaur on his phone.)

And a pot!

I know it's a simple and boring post but it was fun!

Temple

On December 2nd I went through the Temple! It was awesome and something that I felt was completely the right thing for me to do!

Here is me after in front of the Temple.

My mom and me!

And me and my Aunt Barb.

I of course had a ton more family and friends there but they all had already left to head home or to my house before we got pictures.

Now of course us Mormon folk (and I say that will all love!) like any excuse to eat! I mean we get together after funerals to eat ham and potatoes most of the time! So this was of course another reason to get together and stuff our faces with yummy homemade Mexican food at my house! So enjoy these next few complete random pictures of us visiting and eating!

Did you notice all the finger licking in these photos??

Again it was a perfect and beautiful day and thanks for everyone that was there and for your support!!

Christmas decor!

I figured because I post about our Halloween decor every year I should do it with our Christmas decor as well, at least for this year anyway!

The outside of my house! Well most of it anyway!

The deer hanging out in the front yard, complete with "water"

My mom's beloved snowman.

And our outside nativity.

Inside we have tree number one! Sorry I know this is the most horrible picture! It's a white, silver, and blue tree.

Then we have tree number two which would be our skinny red, green, and white tree!

Tree three is our family tree with our favorite, random, homemade, and hand me down ornaments! So this tree is graced with my Maleficent, Backstreet Boys, rubber ducky, Phoenix Suns, nurse's aid, and cupcake ornaments!

We have six stockings for us and then a bone one for Raven.

It's winter wonderland........

atop the kitchen cabinets!

We have snowmen.....

hanging out in the family room.

And Santas in the living room.

And lastly we have to have my nativity sets! This year I decided not to get too crazy with putting them out.

We have one on top of the entertainment center. Sorry this picture is horrible but don't you love Sean Connery as Henry Jones Senior. Gotta love Indiana Jones!

I put four on the sewing machine.

One on the vanity.

Another on the satellite box.

Three and a half...

And one and a half on the cubby shelf.

Two sit above the DVD player.

And lastly four on the piano! And if you were keeping track that would equal 18 of my almost 40 nativity sets that I got out!

I love when our house is decorated for Christmas and how fabulous it looks!

Thanksgivng 2010!

Since I had to work on Thanksgiving my family went up North or to the Dunes so Llama and I enjoyed Thanksgiving together at home this year!

This is what I ate at lunch for my Thanksgiving dinner!

And this would be my second piece of pie while at work! I didn't get pictures of plate of Maria's AMAZING ham, my ham sandwich that I had later in the afternoon with Maria's ham, my plate of veggies because I have to be healthy, and the two cupcakes.

Once I rolled out of work and got home Llama and I had our Thanksgiving dinner of our Outback leftovers!

Llama had pasta with shrimp

I had steak and lobster!

Llama was very happy!

And I couldn't complain either!

It was a very awesome and low key Thanksgiving!

O'Connor is a Blue Ribbon School!

So right before Thanksgiving Konner's school had a Blue Ribbon assembly.

I had no idea what it was but Konner was playing in it so I decided to go and see him play!

All smiles before playing.

And him playing away! The lady sitting next to him was the last principal at the school before the currant Mrs. Brainy (yes that is her last name!) took over.

Now you all may be wondering what the hey a Blue Ribbon Assembly is? Well O'Connor was awarded the Blue Ribbon award which is a HUGE national honor! The school was only one of five schools to get it in Arizona this year. The students and teachers both past and present must have high grades, standards, achievements, and work ethics. So it is pretty much a big deal!

Because this is such a big thing the past principals came and spoke! This was my Principal, Mrs. Hubbard (again that really is her last name!) She was there from the start of the school in 1986 and was there when I started in the fall of 1989 and "graduated" in the spring of 1998. Yes that sounds like such a long time ago! Her last year was my last year so sadly my siblings didn't get all or any of their elementary years with her awesomeness!

It was so awesome for them to get this award and I'm proud to say that I am and will always be an O'Connor Ocelot!
