Mother's Day!!

Okay so because of some craziness of life I have been a little absent from the blogging world so now I have some catching up to do so bear with me!!


For Mother's Day this year I decided to go and do some extra special for our mom. My best friend's husband Nathan works at As You Wish, which is a pottery store. She gave me the idea of what to do so down we went and made these!

We made titles with our hand prints, names, and year on them!

Here is mine in my favorite color purple! And my hand is the same size if not a little bit smaller then Konner's

This is Kristopher's title in his favorite color red and his huge hand that I was afraid wouldn't fit on the title!

No matter how many pictures I took of Karli's title they all turned out blurry so sorry about this one! Her is Karli's with her big hand as well and her favorite color blue!

And lastly Konner's title! In green which is his favorite color and his cute little hand!



The reason I decided to do these for Mother's Day is because after elementary school you never seem to do hand prints for your mom and no matter how old you get you will always be their babies. So now my mom has the hand prints of her babies at the ages of 24, 19, 15, and 10!

Heck yes!!!

Last night at midnight I went and saw this!!!!!!!!!!!

It was pretty much amazing!! Way better then the 3rd and just as good as the first two! Oh and Christian Bale is amazing in it in so many ways!!

I'm totally going to see it again and if you are looking for a good movie this is definitely one!

Cookies with Tarin!

A few Saturdays ago my best friend Tarin and I got together while her hubby was at work and spent to day making chocolate chip cookies and watching movies!!

It was a blast of a day and we made so many cookies! We made four dozen and then Tarin sent the rest of the dough home with me and that made another two dozen!!

Aaahhhhhhh it's Godzilla!!

The other night Karli and Kristopher were playing Godzilla!

Karli jumped on Kristopher's back and they made the rawring noises as they attack my dad in his room!

The other night we were all coming in to our parent's room for family prayer and we found this going on!

This went on for a good while and in the end Raven won but it was really funny to watch!

Dress shopping with Karli!

Can you all believe it! Karli is going to the 9th grade formal!! She is going with a group of friends and I was totally shocked when she told me she was going! So being the awesome sister I am I took her out dress shopping! She wouldn't let me take pictures but I did get one of the dress that she got to wear to the dance! It is more formal then I thought she would get and she decided to wear it next year for other dances! So I guess that means this isn't a once in a lifetime thing!!

Adam's reunion 2009

Everyone's favorite!! Grandpa's biscuits and gravy!! This year I tried tomatoes and gravy at my mom's suggestion and it was so good!!!
