Another gem I found in the phone's picture gallery from last year's crazy scorpion sting!

Yep that would be an IV in my thumb! And not only that it's one of the bigger, most used size of IV!

The nurse that achieved this was a complete Boss!!

But I'm glad that adventure of my life is over!

Uncle Mel

Yesterday a very sweet and wonderful man, who was like a third grandpa to me when I was young returned home to Our Father in Heaven.

This is my Great Uncle Mel and Great Aunt JoAnn

She is the oldest sister of my Drandma Larson and the parents to my dad's cousin Terry who lost his wife, Jody, early last month. She use to watch me when I was little when my parents were working and he would come home to have lunch with us often. Because of this I have come to love these two just as much as my actual grandparents

It is times like this that I take comfort in the Lord's plan that families are eternal and one day he will be with his beautiful wife and children again and is up there playing with his future grandchildren and great children before sending them down to earth! Until then he will be watching over all of us and up there doing one of his favorite things and tending to the greatest garden he will ever have! I'm sure the fruits and veggies he will get from it will be out of this world!

I love you Uncle Mel and you will be greatly missed!

Just A Simple Back Rub!

Today is my bestie's baby shower for her baby boy, Mr. Xander Paul Lunt, that will be arriving in June but since I have been sick with a fever and throwing up and all that fun stuff I figured it was better to keep my zombie butt home and not infect more of the population then I needed to!

But I wanted to post this because I love it, it's Tarin's favorite color, and she honestly just could have wanted a back rub!

Hahaha!

Love you both and sorry I couldn't be there today but I can't wait for your handsome little man to get here!!

Shelia's Little Birthday Party Part 2!

Of course you can't have a birthday party without cake so part two of Shelia's little birthday party is cake time!

Shelia is big into soccer and played it all through high school but she isn't the biggest fan of pink, in fact she was over the moon when I told her the bridesmaid dresses for the wedding would be black and not pink!

But Echo and I still thought it would be fun and funny to have me do hot pink soccer ball cupcakes so that's what I did!

It was a small and simply celebration but she enjoyed it which is all that matters!

Shelia's Little Birthday Party Part 1!

My awesome Sister-in-Law's birthday is April 1st so when she was out to the house for Easter we decided to have her little birthday celebrations as well and I broke them down into two posts for you to enjoy!

Since she was the birthday girl she decided she wanted to opened her gifts first!

And this year Ron and I coordinated our gift with one main theme!

This is the gift from Ron and I!

I'm not sure why but I think Alex and Kalia are just as excited to open the gifts as much as Shelia!

This is the Twilight blankets we made for Shelia and Kalia that she was so excited about and was already planning to take to work in the winter to have on her lap on the days she wears a skirt and gets cold!

She really loved the Twilight music box too!

She also got the movie Tangled because we had an extra copy but she loved the gifts and was very excited!

Last First Kiss

Two years ago I went out on a date with this amazing man, we had a blast, endless conversation, and at the end of the night when he walked me to my door and the butterflies filled my stomach he leaned in for what would be both of our last first kisses!

Everyday since then, the good and the bad has been an adventure and I wouldn't trade it for anything! I thank our Father in Heaven each and everyday that he blessed me with Ron, who is my rock, soul mate, and best friend!

I love you Ron and I can't wait to see all the things that the future has for us!

Mail Delivery!

I know I have posted before about Alex, Kalia, and I going for cart rides with Socrates so on Easter we hooked him up to take a quick trip to the neighbors house after our Easter Egg hunt!

Socrates loves pulling the cart, no joke he really does! But since it was a little warm that day he jumped in his huge water bucket and then wanted to do it again!

But she still looks fabulous and the age she claims she is! (27 the age she was when she had Llama and stopped having birthdays)

Easter 2013: Egg Dying!

Once the egg hunt was over with the plastic eggs we went inside to dye the hard boiled eggs!

This year thanks to the time sucking website Pinterest I found the most awesome idea!

Shaving cream eggs!

You take boring, non-gel shaving cream on a plate or pan, drop a few drops of different color food coloring, swirling it around with a tooth pick, and roll the eggs in it!

They tell you on Pinterest to let them dye overnight but we only waited a couple of hours before wiping them off and they looked awesome!

Alex and Kalia loved it and it was so easy, fun, and a breeze to clean up! The best part was no spills!!
